Yugi gets sick

/Mind link between Atem and Yugi/

Yugi's POV

It was the next morning and I had no idea what was happening to me. I felt really weak all of a sudden and couldn't move let alone feel my body. I had it cold so I started shivering and had a hard time breathing, also feeling really hot, like I was having a fever. When Atem woke up because I felt him move next to me and noticed my condition he went to look for something and left me all by myself. The baby Gods were I think still asleep, because I didn't hear them. Matter of fact I couldn't hear anything!! I really felt terrible and wanted to go home right now and rest, but since I can't move nor feel anything in my body that was going to be very difficult. A couple of minutes later I felt Atem got back and picked me up. Are we going somewhere? If so, where to? I felt Atem walking and my mind was slowly leaving me and a couple of minutes later I blacked out.

Atem's POV

I was slowly starting to wake up the next morning from my much needed sleep from the day before thanks to the fight with the Kings of Darkness when I felt someone shivering beside me. When I looked to my left I saw it was Yugi and he looked very pale and has a very red blush on his face, not to mention that we both had our old clothes back on, we weren't in our Protector's form anymore. Anyway when I laid a hand on Yugi's forehead it got almost burned. Yugi's forehead was really warm. He was also panting a lot and very heavy. What was going on here? I pushed Yugi away from me slowly and carefully and got up fast and went to find something I could use to get his temperature down with, but after looking for almost 10 minutes I had enough and concentrated on our home in Egypt and a portal appeared next to the small lake. I picked him up slowly and held him bridal style while I walked out of the cave with the three baby Gods following us. The three of them looked very worried at Yugi, but mostly Slifer. Slifer eventually came up to us and curled himself around Yugi to keep him warm. Then Obelisk and Ra came and also laid down on Yugi, spreading their tiny bodies as wide as they could to keep Yugi warm. I then walked towards the portal and stood in front of it to see our home and went through the portal to end up in our own dimension again.

When we got out of the portal we were in the backyard, I then ran to the back door while holding Yugi a little tighter and when I was in, everybody was staring at me with wide eyes and mouths agape. Joey was the first one who came out of his shock and reacted "Atem what happened? And what happened to Yugi? Is he alright?" Joey asked me, not even seeing the small baby Gods all curled up on top of Yugi and ran up to me and checked Yugi by laying his hand on his forehead. His reaction was the same as mine, he yelped from the heat that was coming from Yugi's face "Seto call your company's doctors, quick. Yugi is in dire need of medical treatment. Looks like he got really sick!!!" Joey said alarmed, worry was all over his face "Bring him to his room, lay him down in bed and cover him up while I make a call" Seto said and walked away, already calling with his company. I quickly took Yugi up the stairs towards our bedroom and laid him down and walked up to our closet. Out of one of the drawers I pulled out Yugi's pajamas and carefully changed him after I had taken the now sleeping baby Gods from Yugi's body and laid them near the head of the bedpost onto some very soft pillows. To my luck they didn't wake up and aloud me to change Yugi's clothes. After 8 minutes I had changed Yugi into his pajamas and had covered him under five blankets. Sweat was now running down his face and his breathing came out ragged. I was really starting to worry about him. 

Then an idea popped up in my head and I went out of the bedroom "Ryou, Malik!!! Please look after Yugi for me. I have somewhere to go. It's maybe the only way to know why Yugi is in a state like this" I yelled and ran down the stairs and out through the back door again. I held a hand out in front of me and thought really hard. Yugi said he lives near the Valley of the Kings and that brought me on an idea. So I thought about the Valley of the Kings and made a portal towards it. When the portal appeared I went into it and when I came out of the portal I was at the Valley of the Kings and started searching for Heba's tomb immediately. Once I found it, I ran inside and started searching for Heba's sarcophagus. Once found I stopped running and walked up the few stairs that were there and went down to my knees in front of it and started praying for Heba to help us "Why are you here Atem? Is something the matter?" a familiar voice asked and I recognized it as Heba's. When I looked up I could see his soul hovering above his sarcophagus and eventually sat down on it, looking down at me.
