Atem's POV

Last night it was the 1st day of Christmas and we celebrated this with our friends and received a lot of beautiful gifts. Yugi and I also became the new owners of the horse ranch not too far away from the mansion and I was completely surprised that my Aibou was about to buy that place, but was too late since Seto already had bought it for him. Who knew that the all famous Seto Kaiba from Kaiba Corp had a soft spot in his heart and like he promised Yugi not to take his laptop or anything work related with him. He really left that stuff at home or at work. Anyway, Yugi told Julian, the old owner of the horse ranch, that he would like to become the new owner, but only if I could be the second owner and Julian agreed with that. Since Seto got the right information about me from Yugi he got me my own passport so the new ownership could be completed. My oh so sweet, loving and beautiful mate even named it the 'Sennen Ranch' and yes, he used my new last name to make it as a extra Christmas present, giving me my own horse ranch. I couldn't wish for a better present. Oh wait. I actually can. Marrying Yugi and have the baby born is what I wish for the most.

But to get back on what happened last night. Last night after we had dinner prepared by Seto's cooks we went to watch Christmas movies one after the other in the living room and when it was around 11:43 pm I looked down to see Yugi was all curled up on my lap while nuzzling my chest and his eyes were closed "Aibou?" I whispered, but didn't get a respond and knew for sure he was fast asleep, since his breathing was also slow and even. I had one of my arms around Yugi's waist and the other was resting across the backrest, since I was sitting in between Heba and Mai. The others were sitting on a chair or on the ground with a pillow under their chest while laying down on their stomach, watching the movie and eating a snack or drink their beverage. When I looked to my right I saw Heba was starting to fall asleep as well since he tried to keep his head up and his eyes open, but without success and so I decided to take him and Yugi to bed, with me joining Yugi ofcourse "Hey guys. Yugi, Heba and I are going up to bed to sleep, since Yugi is already sleeping on my lap and Heba can nearly keep his eyes open, so I'm taking them upstairs" I said and re-positioned Yugi slowly so I could lift him without waking him up and even carry Heba if that was necessary "Alright Atem. That is okay. Do you need help with getting the two of them upstairs or . . . ?" Tristan asked and started to stand while startling a half asleep Tea awake "No I'm fine, but thank you Tristan. You just enjoy watching the movie while I take these two to bed" I said and looked at Heba while holding out my hand to him while I was still carrying Yugi with my other arm "Are you able to walk yourself or do I need to carry you as well?" I whispered to Heba, who in turn shook his head. He just drank the remaining of his red wine and stood, swaying a little from side to side, but kept his balance and walked towards the stairs "Good night everyone" he mumbled and slowly made his way to the stairs with me and Yugi right behind him "Good night Heba and Atem" Mai, Tristan, Tea, Serenity, Duke, Joey, Mokuba, Ryou and Malik said and went back to watching the movie like the others. Odion and Ishizu left earlier this evening so they could put little Isis to bed.

When Heba and I reached the stairs Yugi thought it was a good idea to change his position in his sleep and I was struggling to hold him the way I was carrying him and nearly dropped him "Are you alright Atem? Do you need some help?" Heba asked when he saw I was struggling with a sleeping Yugi "No it's fine Heba. Let's go to bed" I said and started walking up the stairs when Yugi was happy with his new position, me carrying him bridal style while his head rested against my chest over my heart, so he could listen to my heartbeat. Heba and I walked towards Heba's bedroom first and when we got there he wished me a good night before entering his bedroom and closed the door with a very sleepy expression on his face. I then walked towards mine and Yugi's bedroom and after a couple of minutes I opened the door to our bedroom by using my elbow since I was carrying my sleeping Aibou and closed the door again with my foot carefully, trying not to make a sound. When the door was closed I walked towards the bed and laid Yugi down after I had pulled back the covers and stripped him of his clothes until he was only wearing his boxers and shortly after I had done that started Yugi to stir. I quickly covered him up with the blankets and his stirring got less, but didn't stop. So I quickly stripped myself of my clothes as well and got in through the other side of the bed and pulled him against my chest. His stirring almost ceased immediately when his face came near my neck and I saw his nose twitch a little, a sign he was sniffing the air. A smile then came upon his face as he nuzzled my neck and fell back into his deep sleep, snoring lightly while we were cuddling in bed. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep as well, because after I nuzzled his hair and smelled the scent of Yugi's shampoo and conditioner, which had a calming effect on me and darkness was the next thing I experienced.
