Yugi's birthday

/Mind link between Atem and Yugi/

Normal POV

It was early in the morning and the sun was already shinning very brightly while two tri-colored haired young men where still sleeping in their bed. Yugi, who was now seven months pregnant, was laying on his back while both of his hands were resting on his huge swollen stomach. If people would see him now they would think he could give birth to the triplet at any moment even though he still has a couple of weeks to go. Atem was sleeping on his left side while his right hand was resting on Yugi's lower stomach. While they were still sleeping there was some slight movement in Yugi's stomach, small hands and feet were softly pressing against their hands, wanting their parents' attention. This movement was slowly waking Yugi up. He moaned softly, but then gasped and shot straight up into a sitting position, startling his partner awake, when he felt a very sharp kick in his lower stomach and rubbed the spot he got kicked at. When he held his hands on the spot he got kicked he felt a pair of tiny hands push against his own, making him smile brightly. Atem groaned sleepily and looked at his husband confused  "Yugi? Why did you move so quickly? Is the triplet hurting you again?" Atem asked while rubbing the sleep from his eyes "You have to see this Atem" was the only thing Yugi said while looking at his stomach where two sets of tiny hands and feet were moving.

When his partner said that he looked up and watched his husband rubbing his lower stomach when he also noticed the small movements. He quickly got up into a sitting position as well while watching the movements carefully. Yugi then sighed and took a hold of Atem's right hand and placed it on the spot where he had his and kept it there, pushing it slightly harder onto his stomach. Atem looked confused at this first though, but then gasped when he felt slight movement against his hand and smiled so big, you would have thought it would split his face in two "Aibou!! . . . The babies!! They're trying to make contact with us!!" Atem squealed for the very first time since he was alive again, making Yugi giggle "I know right!! I actually think they're trying to tell me something and if I need to make a guess I think they're hungry and want food" Yugi said and laughed a little at this.

At the mention of the word food though there was a soft kick and Yugi giggled "Well that confirms my suggestion. They are indeed hungry and desire food, but since I'm this far into my pregnancy I can hardly walk, let alone move" Yugi said and then frowned.

It was then that the door to their bedroom opened and in walked Heba with Hatoru right behind him who was holding a tray "Good morning there birthday boy. It's 10:39 AM and the sun is shining. I hope the triplet isn't making you uncomfortable on this very lovely day. We heard you mentioning that the babies are hungry so we thought, why not make you some breakfast? So here you go" Heba said and motioned Hatoru over so he could place the tray down "Hatoru and I made for you some lovely banana-strawberry pancakes covered with banana and strawberry slices topped with caramel syrup and some mint. Next to it you have a healthy green shake which consists of fresh spinach, avocado, kiwi, apple, pear, banana and orange juice. There's also going to be a cake, but that is still baking in the oven" Heba said while smiling and holding Hatoru's hand.

Yugi looked at the tray with food like a predator while drooling a little and then looked at Heba and Hatoru "Thanks a lot you guys. But I have a question though?" Yugi said and looked back down at the plate "What is it Yugi?" Heba asked confused "Well . . . You guys brought me my breakfast, but what about Atem?" Yugi asked and looked at his husband "Yugi . . . Today's your birthday. Atem's breakfast is still being made by Kuraiyugi and Yamikage, but that will be a normal breakfast and not like yours" Hatoru explained. Yugi looked up at him and then slowly nodded his head and then started eating when he felt of soft kick in his lower stomach.
