The truth about Yugi's past life

Normal POV

It was now 10:33 am on a Monday and Kaiba was still fast asleep. He came to Yugi's mansion really early in the morning and was totally exhausted. When the time hit 11:00 am Alma, Yugi's digital assistant came online when there was movement in the living room. It was Kaiba who has woken up "Damn my head hurts. It feels like someone knocked me out last night" Kaiba said and started to look around "Good morning there Seto Kaiba. How've you slept? I hope not to badly?" Alma asked and Kaiba was shocked out of his mind by the voice and stood in a fighting stance "Who's there? Show yourself or else" he said warningly "You don't need to be afraid of me Mr. Kaiba. My name is Alma. I'm Mr. Muto's digital assistant and help him when he asks me to. I don't mean you any harm" Alma said and a hologram appeared of her not to far from him. Kaiba's mouth fell open from surprise and slowly walked up to Alma's hologram and held out his hand to touch her "I don't think that is possible Kaiba. She is a hologram, I made her myself" a voice said and he looked around.

When his eyes came to a stop at the door frame, he saw Yugi was standing in the doorway "Where are we? And how did I get on a couch when I woke up?" he asked "You collapsed to the ground a couple of hours ago and if it wasn't for me catching you, you would of had hit the ground and got injured" Yugi said and walked up to Kaiba "Please follow me" Yugi said and started to walk to his kitchen with Kaiba right behind him "So how did you sleep? I hope not to horrible?" Yugi asked and Kaiba shook his head "That's good to know. So, what do you wanna eat for breakfast?" Yugi asked "What can you make?" Kaiba asked "Well almost anything. What about pancakes with some fruit as a start? If you're hungry after that, just let me know and I'll make you something else" Yugi said and started collecting the ingredients he would be needing "That's fine by me. Need any help with this?" Kaiba asked, but Yugi shook his head "No, I'll be fine. I may be just 21, but my grandfather taught me quite a lot. Not only did he taught me how to play Duel Monsters, but also how to cook. So leave the cooking to me and make yourself comfortable" Yugi said and started cooking.

Kaiba just shrugged and looked at the frige and opened it. There he saw some coke, lemonade, sprite, orange juice and ice tea. He took out a can of orange juice and started to look for a glass "If you're looking for a glass, it's above the kitchen counter next to the sink" Yugi said without even looking at Kaiba and flipped the pancakes he was making. Kaiba looked at him and headed to near the sink and opened the cabinet. There he found all kinds of glasses. From big to small and from colour to blank. He took out 2 small blank glasses and filled it with orange juice "Guess you don't mind if I pour in some orange juice for you?" Kaiba asked and Yugi shook his head, still busy with cooking.

Yugi's POV

I was the first one to wake up and changed myself in to the cloths I was wearing a few hours ago. Then when I came down in the living room, after turning off the alarm, I saw that Kaiba was still sound asleep. So that gave me the chance to go grocery shopping, because I had nothing in the kitchen, not in the fridge, nor the freezer "Good morning Alma. I'm heading out to do some grocery shopping. If Kaiba might wake up and I'm still gone, can you tell him where I am?" I asked "Good morning Mr. Muto. I'll let him know when you aren't back yet when he wakes up. Have fun and be careful" Alma said and I nodded. I grabbed my house and car keys and walked outside to my car. I got in my car and drove away from my mansion to a nearby street market.

10 minutes later of driving

After a couple of minutes driving I came to a marketplace on the streets and parked my car nearby and got out. I started walking over the street market and looked for many things. Using a shopping list I knew exactly what I needed and what not "Good morning sir, what can I get for you?" a men asked me. I gave him the shopping list and he went to work. The man started gathering the things I needed. When he was done I paid for everything and even gave him a little tip "Thank you very much for your help. Is there maybe someone that can help me carry this to my car?" I asked and the man nodded "Of course that is possible. Please wait here for a moment" he said and I nodded. After waiting for a couple of minutes the man came back with 2 other man "This one is Rashida and this is Mello" the man said and I shook hands with Rashida and Mello "It's a huge pleasure to meet you Mr. Muto. Please allow us to carry your groceries to your car" Mello said and started picking up 5 bags and Rashida took 6 bags, that left me with just 3 bags to carry. When we got to my car, I unlocked it and opened the trunk so we could put the bags in the trunk. When that was done I thanked Rashida and Mello and gave them a tip as well. I waved at them my goodbye and got behind the wheel of my car and drove back to my mansion.
