Chapter 2

The next breezy morning, I woke up with a sound that sounded like pouring of liquid. I stood up and it was cold! I grabbed my coat and wore it around me. Fanogg was still in a deep sleep. So, i secretly tiptoed towards the glassed window and peeked out of the cloth. It was pouring rain! It was thundering through the skies and the rain poured even loudly if so. Suddenly i heard a door open. I turned around and saw the boy who opened the door. He was carrying 2 cups with a warm drink.

"Um... Uh here... a warm drink for the cold weather"

"Thank you, (gets the drink politely and sips) What is your name?"

"My name is Radcliffe Quinton but please call me Rad or Cliff to be even shorter... What is yours?"

"My name is Taniya Snowdon... But if you do not want Taniya then please call me Snow"

"No, Taniya is a very nice name... Please drink the hot choco while it is still very warm..."

i nodded and sat down the sofa. i drank the hot choco which was actually the name of the it. i finally finished the drink and Fanogg woke up.

"(yawn) hmmm... that smells delicious..."

"Here, he prepared it for you!"

Fanogg sipped and he said it was delicious. i smiled and thanked him. he smiled and scampered away. When i heard footsteps going down i looked behind. I saw Rad's mom and dad.

"Hello dear, did you sleep well?"

"Yes Ma' am, i have..."

"Please, call me Mom...."

"Yes i will, mom"

"Have you eaten?"

"Well i have drank the hot choco you son has prepared.."

"Oh dear that isn't considered as eating yet! come here with him..."

I held Fanogg's hand and dragged him to the table. We sat down and ate the prepared food called beacon and eggs. it was delicious and so i thanked them for it. i finished it all up and placed the dishes in the sink. Then i asked:

"Hello mom, where is the lavatory located?"

"Upstairs near the 2 spare rooms... near the window..."

"thank you.."

i ran upstairs to the place where the lavatory was located. When i saw the big glass window it was amazing! i went to each room near it and finally saw it. After using the Lavatory i went out and stared at the window. It was so nice! the view was absolutely spectacular!!! All of a sudden Fanogg came up saying:

"Taniya! We need to talk!"

"sure..."

We walked down the staircase and sat down at the sofa's we sat on. And Fanogg spoke:

"Taniya, right you remember that i said you must act human? You must go to this place to study called "SCHOOL"

"Oh, i thought it was something more important!"

"It is! Isn't it?"

"Not as I expected on how important..."

"You will go to the same school as Radcliffe!"

"Are we the same age with each other?"

"Yes, you are lucky because he is your classmate! He can help you and he is the most famous boy in school!"

"Oh okay thank you!"

Fanogg mentioned that school would start tomorrow morning. I nodded and headed towards the empty room. It was large with a big window which occupied the wall across me. I walked inside and then the door behind me opened. 2 men came in carrying a bed. Then they asked:

"Where should we put this?"

"Here near the window pls!"

"Window it is!"

They carried the bed to the window area and it was the perfect spot. I bowed and they waved back. They went out of the room and left the door open. Suddenly Mom came in the room. 

"So, do you like your room so far?"

"Well it is more than like! I really appreciate your kindness!"

"Thank you"

She left the room and then after a few minutes she came back carrying a cloth. 

"This is your bedsheet... The cover of your bed"

"Thank you!"

"If you do not want this design or color, Please tell me what is your favorite color?"

"I have plenty, mom... May i just see the options?"

"Oh sure! You may take your time to do so!"

She lead me to a room with drawers and closets. She opened 2 cabinets and 2 drawers.

"In there, you will find plenty of choices! If you are done, ask the maid downstairs to prepare it"

"Thank you so much mom!"

"Your welcome! I'll call you if it is time for lunch..."

"Okay"

I kneeled down the 1st drawer and looked inside. What is my favorite color? Should i recall the my home? I kept digging until i reached the end. There wasn't anything i liked. So, i went to the 2nd drawer and looked inside for the bedsheet i wanted.
