(Y/n) was waiting for Dally to come home for their one year anniversary. She had been waiting two hours past their planned time. Technically this was their fourth time trying to do this anniversary that actually happened two weeks before. Dally kept getting drunk or got into fights on the nights they had planned to have their special night. This time (Y/n) was not having it. She grabbed her keys and got in her car. She drove to the Dingo and walked inside. Inside she saw Dally trying to 'pick up a girl'. She walked over to him and glared at the girl making her back away.
"What the hell (Y/n)! I was trying to pick up that broad"
"Well problem number one Dallas, you are dating me. Problem two, you stood me up again!"
"That seems like a personal problem"
"Well its your personal problem!"
(Y/n) walked forward and slapped Dally. When he looked back at (Y/n) he had that dangerous glint in his eye.
"Your gonna get it now"
"You wouldn't dare"
Just then Dally punched (Y/n) in the jaw. She looked at him with shock in her eyes. He threw another punch that she dodged with ease. She tackled Dally, straddled his waist, and started punching him over and over. Her punches became softer and softer as her anger turned to tears.
"Dally, you always ask why there isn't any good in the world, and the reason is that you don't want to see the good. Your always out drinking when I want to spend time with you without the gang. You don't feel any regret when you do something wrong, even if it has something to do with me"
By now (Y/n) was punching Dally's chest weakly. The strange thing was that Dally had stopped struggling. He watched the tears roll down your face. Even in his drunken state he knew that something was terribly wrong. (Y/n) never cried in front of anyone other that Johnny, and having her cry was another rare thing.
"You wouldn't care if everything fell apart tomorrow. You wouldn't care if everyone suddenly disappeared tomorrow. You don't care about nobody! You don't care that I love you! You don't care that I care about what your doing. You don't care that I get jealous or mad or insecure about everything that you do. You wouldn't care if I died tomorrow. You don't care about anything"
Now everyone in Bucks was watching you and Dally.
"You don't give a damn about nobody! Not Pony, not Johnnycakes, not me. We don't mean a damn thing to you"
With that (Y/n) stumbled off of Dally and bolted out the door. Dally had sat up and opened his mouth to talk but (Y/n) was gone. Outside (Y/n) got in her car and started driving. She didn't know where she was going but she didn't want to go home. After 15 minutes of driving she pulled over because her tears were blurring her vision. She got out of her car and started to walk. The rain soaked her in seconds. The rain mixed with her tears as she walked. She began to think about her relationship with Dally and how she loved him with everything she had and with his actions he didn't seem to care about her at all. She kept walking. When she stopped, she was on the other side of town. There was nobody in sight. (Y/n) sighed in relief, she wan't in the mood to get jumped.
"(Y/n)!"
She turned around to see Dally standing there.
"How did you find me?"
Dally just shook his head. He looked at your black and purple jaw. The hurt in his eyes were visible.
"I've been looking for you for hours. I called Darry to see if you were at the house, now they are all worried and are all looking for you right now. I thought you got jumped or did something stupid. Shit (Y/n)"
He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. (Y/n) welcomed the body warmth. He rapidly spit out apologies.
"I'm so sorry (Y/n). I've been such a jerk, ditching you all the time. Shit you know I ain't good at apologizing."
"I barely know you at all"
"What?"
"All I know about you is what everybody else tells me. You haven't told me anything about you. We barely went out and when we were supposed to you ditched me."
"I-I can change. I promise."
"Don't make promises you can't keep"
"I will keep this one. If it means keeping you safe and happy I'll do it"
Just then Darry's truck pulled up next to them. The rest of the gang got out of the truck and walked over to the pair. One by one the gang hugged (Y/n). Darry checked over her to make sure that she didn't have any wounds. When he saw the bruise on her jaw his eyes got a murderous look in them.
"Who gave you that bruise (Y/n)?"
"Its probably best that you don't know Darry"
"I gave it to her Darry"
"WHAT?!"
"She slapped me for standing her up again and for trying to pick up a broad so I hit back"
"Dally... You have a three seconds to run"
"Darry no"
"Why not (Y/n)"
"Because the two of us need to talk and I need him alive to do that. And even after all of that I still love him"
Everyone but Dally and (Y/n) groaned. Dally let out a sigh of relief. (Y/n) turned to him.
"Would you really change for me?"
"Yes. Because I really do care about what happens to you"
