𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝟐

I turned the corner to walk down my usual hallway. I'd been walking this way ever since I found out Shawn also walked this way. I just wanted to see him.

For the past months I'd been sneaking small glances at him as we passed each other. They were brief and silent and each time I'd immediately hope he didn't notice.

Usually, however, I walked with my friends, but today, they were both absent from school, so I walked alone. I could feel my heartbeat through my chest as I approached the last turn to wear I would see Shawn. I didn't know why I was so nervous [ buy Nervous on iTunes ], it wasn't like he ever noticed me.

When I saw him finally, my heart fluttered. For that single moment as I passed him, I was numb. Then, as quick as he came, he was gone. I returned to my normal without-shawn feeling as I continued walking.

The hand on my shoulder startled me at first, and when I turned to see the hand connected to Shawn, my nerves did not settle.

"Hi." He said awkwardly.

"Hello." I replied, trying to keep from having an outburst.

"Ah, I know this is weird, but I see you around a lot and I... well I just never knew your name." He explained.

With a small nod of understanding, I chuckled. "Oh, well it's (y/n)." I told him.

"I'm Shawn." He said with a toothy grin.

His perfect teeth only made me heart jump more.

Before an awkward silence set in, he spoke again. "Oh, so, where are you heading? I'll walk you."

I kept from giggling. "I'm going to the M building. You?" I asked.

"Ah, the L building but it's fine, my teacher is really chill." He said. The L building was quite far from the M building.

We walked together, mostly in silence since I had no idea what to say to which I imagined he didn't either. As we neared my classroom though, we stopped to say goodbye.

"Thank you for walking me." I said with a light smile, suppressing my nerves.

He sent me a warm smile. "Yeah, no problem. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you." He replied.

A giggle finally escaped, causing him to chuckle. The anxious air around us was becoming almost too much so I decided I should probably get to class.

"Okay well, I need to get inside and you probably shouldn't be late." I told him, already backing away though my heart wanted me to stay.

"Oh, yeah, totally forgot about my class." He laughed. "I'll see you in a little bit, we should talk more." He suggested.

I nodded. "Yeah we should."

As we parted ways and I headed into my next class which I knew I wouldn't pay attention to since my mind was running with thoughts of Shawn, my heart bursted. He had actually noticed me.

Ugh I'm really catching feelings and I don't know what to do. Does anyone know how to shoot your shot because I'm at a loss.

Anyways, sorry I'm slow on updates. I had horrible writers block but since I'm falling for this boy I'm starting to daydream again and now I have tons of ideas.

There should be more updates coming now and hopefully holiday ones!!
