Chapter 1

Wanda's POV
"Stop!", They were after us again. I had tried running away but they caught up to me. "Pietro where the hell are you", I whispered to myself. "She's going left!" "Don't let her get away!" "Send another group toward her, we'll surround her!". I saw the men running behind me almost catching up to me. When I turned my head to look forward another group was closing in. I saw an opening, but it required me to go up. "Good thing I can levitate", I told myself.

My hands glowed bright red from my powers being activated. Soon I levitated quickly from them and landed somewhere else. I was on a rooftop, catching my breath. "God Wanda I thought they would take you!" "Yeah thanks for your concern. Would've been better if you had shown up to help" "Sorry. I had a lot of them on my back too" "Are you ok?" "Yeah. Are you". I panted and nodded at him. "How much longer are we going to have to do this" "Until we can find anything about our biological father. All we know is that the brotherhood and the X-Men were very active in this country" "What if it isn't worth it in the end? Why should we go looking for him? He abandoned us, Wanda" "It's a little late to turn back. I'm starting to think it isn't worth it either, but the sentinels know of us. We won't leave that easy" "I'll stay here and keep watch for anyone trying to get us. You rest up" "Pietro I'm fine we can k-" "No. I have better stamina. I can keep going but you can't" "Fine. Be careful", I laid myself up against a near by vent.
Lorna's POV
"There's two but I one of them I can feel every now and then?" "What do you mean every now and then?" "I'm guessing he/she can move too fast for me to track" "So you're saying he/she is a fast runner?" "That or they may have a different power that causes that" "What about the other one?" "On a rooftop....Five miles from here" "Let's go". Two mutants were said to be here by sentinels and we are going to get to them before they do. "They're moving! We have to go quickly"
Wanda's POV
"Wanda there's people after us we need to go", Pietro said as he picked me up and ran with me in his arms.

"Did you see how many?" "Three and there's probably going to be more" "Thank you" "Are you still tired?" "A little" "I'll try to find another place as fast as I can" "Pietro stop I can levitate us" "No, you're already tired I can't have you pass out" "Ok, but don't overdo yourself too" "I'll be fine".
Lorna's POV
"John where are they?" "Getting far by the minute! Are they both fast or something?". We kept running after these mutants we couldn't get to. How do they move so quickly. "Lorna move out of the way!", John had pushed me away from the middle of the street and a blur had passed by us. "That's one of them!" "Did they come back our way?" "Why?"
Wanda's POV
"Here. Let's stay here" "Out of breath?" "Sorta" "Pietro rest up. I'll be able to protect us" "I'm not letting you fight alone" "I know". We rested for a good ten minutes and then had company. Pietro was still resting a little and I had gotten on my feet.

"Stay back"
Lorna's POV
"Stay back", the mutant said. She had red energy on her palms and behind her was a man about her age with silver hair. "We aren't Sentinels. We're part of the Mutant Underground. We come to help" "How do I know your mutants?". I held my palms open and levitated a nearby object of metal, "That's how, my mutant ability is magnetism. What's yours" "My brother has superhuman speed and stamina" "And you?" "It's a little.... Weird". Marcos chuckled softly, "He's fast and she's weird". She brushed off the comment, "I'm Wanda and this is Pietro Maximoff" "I'm Lorna Dane, this is Marcos and John". Mission successful
