I caught the hybrid before he hit the ground. He was sound asleep in my arms, soft snores coming from him. I held him in my arms bridal style as I carried him upstairs to my bedroom. I opened the door and entered, placing him down on my bed. He curled up into ball, tail wrapped around him.

"Cute." I murmured, brushing hair away from his face.

I stood up straight as I walked out of the room, shutting the door quietly behind me. As soon as I left, I grabbed my phone from my pocket and opened up to the group chat.

Me: Guys. You probably won't believe me, but, I just wound a hybrid

Ochaco: You found a hybrid?!

Tenya: I thought all hybrids were killed off?

Me: They're not

Denki: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! I WANNA SEE!!

Katsuki: The f*ck do you mean? There's no f*cking way you found one

Me: Come over and I'll prove it

Mina: You're not gonna sell it are you?!

Me: Of course not

Ejirou: I'm coming over too! I'm not about to let Bakubro explode the poor thing

Me: I'll see you here than

Not even a minute later, the doorbell rang. I headed downstairs and opened the door, seeing Katsuki, Ejirou and even Denki.

"We were in the neighbourhood soooo... yeah!" Denki smiled. "Anyway, let's go see that hybrid!"

I stepped aside, saying that the hybrid, Izuku, was in my room asleep at the moment. Denki just charged up there like there was no tomorrow while the other two walked up a bit slower. I shut the door and followed them up.

"Holy sh*t dude! You got a rare one. And he's super cute too!" Denki said as we entered the room.

He was crouched down next to the bed, scratching under Izuku's chin, earning purrs in response.

"What do you mean by 'rare' one?" I asked, walking over to him as both Katsuki and Ejirou examined the greenette hybrid.

"Each colour has a difference in rarity. Brown, black, white and grey are the four most common ones. Next are the yellow and orange hybrids. After them come the blue, red, pink and purple. Lastly are the greens and neons. There were only three green hybrids known to exist. You've found one of them! The other two might still be alive." Denki explained.

"Are the rarities still the same now? I mean, most of the hybrids were killed off." I replied.

"Well, the more common ones blend in more so they aren't typically found. The yellow and orange ones, well, about half of them were found and killed, but, the rest are no where to be seen. They might've been killed or are in hiding somewhere. Most blues have been killed, as well as most reds and pinks, but, there are still some purple alive in hiding. That just leaves the green's and neons. No one has really seen a neon before so they might be fake. Which leads us to the greens where there should still be 3."

"Alright. That makes a bit more sense-"

*Thud

I turned my head, seeing Izuku on the ground rubbing his head.

"Ow... that really hurt..." he murmured, sitting up. "What was that for?"

"Bakubro! You can't just grab his tail like that!" Ejirou said, earning a 'tch' from the ash-blonde.

"Oh and you with the black streak," Izuku started, pointing over to Denki. "All the blue and white hybrids are gone. Now about all colours have the same rarity."

"Seriously?! Damn. I thought there would've been more." Denki said.

"Sadly, no. The hunters found them a and just killed them, no questions asked." Izuku sighed, ears laying flat on his head.

"Hunters? You mean the H.O.T. right?" Ejirou said.

"Those f*ckers again?" Katsuki commented.

"H.O.T., hunters, there all the same. I've had a luck streak throughout the years in which I haven't run into any. But, none of you are hunters, are you?" Izuku said.

"No, no. Defiantly not." Denki replied.

"Isn't your father apart of that group, Todoroki?" Ejirou asked.

"He is. But, he never comes round here. You should be safe here." I replied.

"Thank god..." Izuku sighed in relief.

He was about to say something when the doorbell rang. I got up and left, heading downstairs. I opened the door, seeing the person I least expected.

"Father? What're you doing here?" I asked, loud enough for the others to hear.

"The team is sending people to check everyone's houses in case there's a hybrid living there." Endeavour replied, stepping inside.

'Did they find out about Izuku?' I filled down a lump in my throats as I followed him around my house. "There aren't any here. So why bother checking?"

"We have to be certain." Endeavour replied as he headed upstairs.

'Sh*t.' I mentally cursed as he entered my bedroom.

I followed, seeing everyone besides Izuku. He was either hiding in cat form or left the room. Endeavour checked the whole room, leaving no crevasse unchecked. He finished and left the room to check the others.

"Where is he?" I asked, keeping my voice low so he wouldn't hear.

"Outside." Denki replied, pointing to the window.

I breathed out a sigh of relief before leaving the room after Endeavour. I found him checking the bathroom. I leaned against a wall as he continued his search all throughout my house. He finally finished and headed back to the front door.

"Glad to know you're not keeping any. Bye now." He said as he left.

"Finally." I sighed, heading back upstairs.

I opened my bedroom door, seeing that Izuku was back inside. Though, there was fear etched into his face.

"What's wrong?" I asked, walking over.

"Tch. Apparently, you're so called f*cked up father is the one who drove all hybrids out of their lands. Now he's the most feared 'hunter' there is. That's what the hybrid said." Katsuki replied.

"Most hunters we can escape. But him. He always gets us." Izuku said, slightly shaking.

Ejirou moved his hand up and started to pet Izuku's hair in a soothing manner. That seemed to calm him down a bit.

"It'll be alright." I said.

He looked up at me with fearful eyes, a glimmer of hope shining in them.

"Thank you."
