Walking took a lot longer then I originally thought. Sure I knew that it was the slowest mode of moving here, but that doesn't mean I expected it to take this long. We finally reached the foot of my home! Well, sort of. We were stopped outside by someone who was apparently 'protecting sacred land' or whatnot. I wanted to jump out and just announce "this is my home!" but I knew that wasn't going to end well. So instead, we backed off and started to circle around the side, Yamada being our lookout for anyone else who's try to stop us or seemed suspicious. Hitoshi and I jumped down to the ground and started walking ahead of Aizawa and Yamada, ears tilting in every-which-way, eyes scanning for a path to follow. The mountain was protected by a large barbed wire fence that was apparently electric, if what the guy who stopped us said was true.

Even so, we continued forward. As we trekked, I spotted something in the distance. It looked to be a hole through the fence, just large enough to be another hybrid who'd either come back or left the mountain. I darted forwards, skidding to a halt Bestie the hole and looked around. I wasn't sure if it was a trap or not, but I had to be wary. The others stopped by where I stood and looked down at the hole that led inside.

"Seems like a trap to me," Aizawa muttered, snapping a small branch off a nearby tree just small enough to fit through. He chucked the branch inside and watched it roll across the ground. Nothing happened. "Well, maybe someone else made it for others like yo-" he was cut off by a bear trap snapping the twig like it was paper. "I stand corrected."

"What are we suppose to do now then?!" I asked frantically. We'd finally reached this place, but now we can't enter. What else was I suppose to do? "How are you going to get in?"

Humming in thought, Yamada suddenly clicked his fingers as an idea came to mind. "Sho and I could toss you two over the fence. From there, we could search around the rest of the mountain side for another entrance. If that doesn't work, then we could just fight the guy at the door."

"That's a terrible plan, Hizashi," Aizawa shook his head in disbelief, sighing in defeat. "There has to be a better way of getting through. Do you two know any secret entryways?"

Hitoshi and I shared a glance, shaking our heads no. "This fence seems to be a recent thing they built. It was already being crafted while we lived here, but it had just barely started," Hitoshi said, glancing back at the towering offender. "We had all left before it was fully built, so I doubt anyone knows of any secret entrance. We just have to figure it out ourselves."

"Damn. Then we might just have to go with Hizashi's dumb idea," Yamada let out an offended gasp at that blunt statement from Aizawa. "It's stupid, but it might just work if we play it out correctly."

Hitoshi and I climbed up Aizawa's arm once more, the man wrapping his capture scarf around us. We closed our eyes and before we knew it, we were soaring through the air. We tumbled around in mid air, trying to right ourselves for a safe landing. A tree branch that stuck out in our direction was the only chance of not breaking our bones. Unsheathing our claws, we raked them into the soft bark and held on, feeling our momentum slow down. We came to a halt halfway down the branch, both of us letting our sighs of relief. Shifting back into a semi-human, I jumped down to the ground with ease, Hitoshi following right after. We looked up and saw Yamada with his thumbs up, Aizawa only nodding instead. We nodded back, watching as the two started back around the fence to look for another entrance.

"See. I told you we could trust them. Look how far we've gotten!" I exclaimed, grabbing hold of Hitoshi's arm as I started dragging him through the trees and bushes that decorated the mountain's surface. "We're almost there. We just have to go up to the top."

"Easier said then done, don't you think?" Hitoshi grumbled, avoiding branches that brushed past his wild purple hair.

"No matter. We just have to reach the top and then we can stop this thing," I looked down at my wrist, seeing the mark flicker in and out of existence the further we climbed. "As long as we make it there, we can do something, alright?"

Hiroshi nodded in agreement. I released his arm and we ran side by side up the mountain. It got steeper and steeper, and the trees become more clustered and thicker. Even so, we kept on running. As we did, I heard Yamada's familiar voice hit my ears, saying that they managed to get in. I felt a smile stretch across my face as my eyes narrowed slightly, one goal in mind. I knew what I had to do, and I'd do anything to achieve it. We ran and ran, dodging past elongated branches that tried to keep us back. We were halfway there when it happened. A loud, booming voice filled the once still air, scaring away peaceful animals that had been trying to rest. I knew that voice. Every hybrid new that one voice that had brought devastation to us all. The voice that threatened to murder us all then and there when he had the chance.

"Crap. We're stuck. What are we supposed to do?" Hitoshi hissed, eats and tail laying flat as he look up at my with fearful eyes.

I tried to think, but all my instincts screamed "run". I didn't know how to respond. I opened my mouth, ready to scream out run, before my blood when ice cold. "I found you, ya little shits."
