"I did not agree to this!" Vito complained and whined the whole time.

Honestly, I'm not ready for this either and where in the world did Khumtsa get these bikes, heaven only knows.

Vito had agreed to skip classes for the day and we had gone to Khumtsa's place to make plans for the day which was not necessary since he had everything planned out. The moment we were standing outside his house, I saw three sports bikes standing gloriously outside his front gate. I had immediately ran over and excitedly expressed how I wished I could ride them and that's when Khumtsa told us his crazy plan.

We were going to ride the bikes up the hill to a place only Khumtsa knew and he would tell us what we would do once we get there.

Great!  We're going to die

I'm just over reacting it. The worst that could happen is a few fractures or getting hospitalized. I'm not exaggerating. We've got two boys who can ride but there are five of us and three bikes. That is what led us to the little disagreement right now. Vito and Khumtsa couldn't come up to an understanding and the three of us are well, bird watching.

"Seriously Vito I will run you over with this bike just hop on! We're getting late!" Khumtsa huffed.

"No. I am not riding with you! I don't wanna die young." Vito did not budge from her place.

I was getting annoyed now. I had already been ticked off the moment we decided the pairing.  Tiren and Rachel were already mounted in one of the bikes. Khumtsa had taught me how to ride one in half an hour and so I was mounted on the other. Vito cannot ride on her own so at the end we unanimously decided that she would ride with Khumtsa.  But her stubborn heart was starting to pull my nerves.

"Vito, it's either you ride with him or ride with the girl who just learnt how to balance this machine." I finally spoke unable to stay quiet anymore.

"I'll ride with you." she said.

Is she out of her mind!?

"Are you out of your mind? She can barely manage to balance her own weight with the bike and you wanna ride with her?" Rachel spoke up this time.

"It's her choice, man. You can't question her decision." Khumtsa snapped.

I could tell he was annoyed by just the mere presence of Rachel and Tiren. This gets me thinking, what did he mean by 'bang Tiren' the previous evening?

"Um...guys,  she's right though. I have more chances of killing Vito than Khumtsa." I reasoned.

"It's alright Grace, I don't mind dying with you. You're my friend" Vito replied while glaring at Rachel through the corner of her eyes.

This two has got to stop eyeing the couple

And you've got to stop defending them.

I'm not .

Yes you are.

Shut up.

"Fine then it's settled. Lets get going." Khumtsa started his engine.

I fidgeted with the keys before starting off.
Khumtsa and Tiren followed suit.

Riding up the hill was no joke and to top it off, Vito kept shouting her will into my ears.

"Grace! If I die, tell my mother this was the only day I skipped classes!"

"Oh my God! We're gonna die!"

"You can have all the chocolates under my pillow!"

As it is, it was already hard to concentrate on the road.

"Vito! Do me a favour and shut up will you? I'm trying not to kill both of us! And you're not helping! At! All!" I yelled back and got beside Khumtsa.

"Are we there yet?" I shouted over to him.

"Yep!" he replied.

I successfully brought the bike to a halt and climbed off.

"Are we dead? Is this heaven?" Vito followed behind.

She can be really dramatic sometimes. And that's when I felt something was wrong. Khumtsa was sitting by the lake and Vito walked over to him. I turned back and realized what was going on.

"Where's Tiren and Rachel?" I asked as I walked over to them and eyed Khumtsa suspiciously.
