Opposites Attract

The beginning: Not an update to the story

Quarantine got me cleaning!😂
So today, I was cleaning the house top to bottom. I found a sheet of paper (a small portion of a few pages of rantings) in the pile of things to be burned.

It was something I wrote about four years ago. Why share it here? Because this book, Opposites Attract, is the child of that write up. It is from that phase of life that Grace (that girl with the voice in her head) was born. So without rambling on further, here's what I wrote four years ago.

I smile as I walk past the street where we once walked together.
I smile when I see you standing there,
I smile as I watch you disappear.
It's not fake but it's not real.
I'll be fine, I'll get through. You're not the only one.
I know I'm a fool too.
I'll be strong, I'll get through. I'll get better on my own so keep your distance, that's my goodbye.
Promises, you've broken yours.
You never meant what you said.
If I knew you'd lie, I would have never put my guard down.
But it's done, it's gone and all I want is to live without pretence.

That was a difficult phase and I was a blind teen.😂
So that's when Opposites Attract was crafted. Another reason why it takes too long to update a chapter. It is very difficult to contact Grace because since that time, she has become Jane and now Jenti.

I will still keep the ending as Grace had imagined. So stay,😆 even if this lazy, (cough) unimaginative, (cough) amazing (COUGH) writer takes eons to update.

The writer who brings Opposites Attract to you has a very hard exterior (almost unable to express the feels). I'm hoping I'm not the only one with that trait.

I love you all so much for keeping up with me and my inconsistency.
