chapter 4: the visit

It had been at least 4 days since you were knocked unconscious by that foul beast, in your unconscious state although you could not move your hand or the rest of your body, you could still think perfectly fine and could almost hear the outside world.

You became quite bored as you were left alone with your own thoughts, in a way you considered it quite lonely and longed for someone to talk to.

You vaguely heard someone exiting the room and presumed it was Madam Pomfrey heading of to bed leaving you completely alone in the cold medical room.

Some time passed and as you started to focus on waking up you thought you might have heard someone approaching, your suspicions were confirmed when you felt a heavy mass weigh down on the edge of your matress.

Thoughts swirled around your head
Who could it be?, why are they ?
A deep hoarse voice erupted next to you slightly echoing around the room.
What was he doing here?
The voice was undeniable Snape's and although you couldn't care less about what he had to say it may be the only voice you heard for a while so you took the effort to listen.

Snape began to insult you continuing to call you a stupid girl and that enraged you, why am I even bothering to listen to his stupid voice?
But just as you were begining to block him out of your head his tone softened a little.

" you silly girl" he proceeded " you should wake up quickly before you gain more homework to catch up on".

The tone of his voice made you the slightest bit giggly inside like you had an eruption of butterflies in you stomach, it sounded to you as if he had made a joke and you found that highly amusing, so amusing in fact that you began to open your eyes.
