To say that something was left out is a bit of a understatement as Elowen and I had begun to realise that we were missing shoes , which one would think to be highly unlikely to happen unless you just might have a little bit of carelessness in you .
Forget the shoes but not literally , the second big question of the day should be , purses or handbags ?
The third big question of the day should be , with or without accessories ?
All of those decisions are supposed to be made within two hours ... such a tragedy. Decisions shouldn't have to be so hard to make because one has to be precise with an idea of the goal at the end.
However , would those decisions matter if you don't have anything to decide from ? Then again I don't mind being part of team barefoot since I have pretty yet elegant feet .
So I decided to eat rather than to starve ... Which probably means I should find myself some shoes if I want to be there in time .
At times like these is when I wish for a huge walk in closet with my shoes neatly lined up on the shelf , just waiting to be picked and worn and put right back .
I looked down and my gaze landed on Elowen's converse sneakers . I swear she is such a hypocrite , after telling me about how expensive the invitation card looks and about the expensive venue ... She decides to wear converse sneakers with ... RAINBOW BLOODY COLOURED LACES ! I looked at her with a strained smile on my face while trying to keep myself in check from having the randomly worst outburst ever .
'Nice shoes ' , I tell her with an obvious look of shock and random emotions .
She looks down and realization actually dawns up her . ' Oh ... Damn I had actually forgot about these ...', she says while looking sheepish and massaging the back of her neck for a few seconds.
Going back to my "I'm to tired to go to the party " mood , I walk across the room and sit my ass down at the edge of the trying to come up with ideas of how to get us shoes that will actually match with the dresses .
From across the room I spot my jewelry box and just stare at it for no reason at all , until I walk back to the vanity table , reach out for the box and my hand stops mid air. I noticed something beside the box two pieces of jewelry which I had may or may not have bought not to long ago , depending on my memory I probably only bought the earrings , which was most probably a week or two back from now .
Something blue ... for the bride and it is quite something indeed . A aquamarine pendant with a platinum chain to complete the necklace and next to it was a beautiful gold plated star earrings .
'Hey Elowen , do you wanna use these earrings ?' , I ask her while dangling one of the earrings from my hand .
'Yeah sure, they do seem to go with the whole look ' , she said while she took the one from me and the other from table . She leaned into the mirror so she was able to put them on properly . ' Wow these look pretty ', said Elowen while admiring them in front of the mirror .
