Elliot's POV

My thoughts weighed me down as I walked to my next class. I had Jamie in my class next. That kiss had been heaven. I noticed her ahead of me. I rushed to catch up with her but stopped, dead still, when I saw Blade Anderson call out and run to her.

"They must be talking about school work, nothing else." I lied to myself. She always talks about him. How perfect he is? He seems like a prick to me. I stared in shock as people threaded around me. He had Jamie by the hand and was steering her out the door. She turned my way but did not see me as I had already blended in with all of the students walking to their next classes. I watched her walk out the door toward the parking lot. I followed but stayed a fair way back. Once they got to a sleek looking Nissan Patrol, Jamie stopped Blade. I saw Blade say something. Jamie got on her tiptoes and kissed Blade straight on the mouth. I collapsed to my knees with the pain of it. I watched through a bush as she threaded her hands through his hair. I was shaking by the time they had pulled away.

Getting to my feet, sorrow turned into anger. I jogged back to class and ran into Lacey on the way there, still shaking.

"Hey Elliot." I grinned, remembering our last encounter.

I smiled at her, and without hesitation, I replied, "Hey Lacey."

She smirked in victory as she realized, "It seems like someone is missing."

She said, indicating Jamie. Suddenly, hate washed over me. I wanted revenge. "Yeah, ran off with her boyfriend. Speaking about boyfriends..."

I raised my eyebrow, "I was just wondering if you wanted one."

She squealed and kissed me. Shock hit me first but I kissed her back. Her kisses weren't as soft and beautiful as Jamie's but....I would of slapped myself if I wasn't kissing someone. This is a revenge mission. I slipped my hand to the small of her back and pulled her closer. She kissed me more passionately but I had to pull away.

She answered my confused expression. "Does that answer your question?"

I grinned, "I think so."

....Jamie's POV....

I parked Blade's car in the school car park and rested my head on the wheel.

I sobbed and sobbed.

I looked up and spotted Elliot. School had finished so he was walking out the gate. A feminine figure sprinted to him from behind and flung her hands around his neck. I noticed I was crying again. How could he do this after we kissed.

Then I realized, I just skipped class with a rapist freak. I focused back on them and tried to identify the girl. The more I stared the more she looked like a little someone, a someone I absolutely hated. The couple were only chatting but they were definitely flirting. Then Elliot leaned down and kissed her. I felt as though the air had been knocked out off my chest.

I doubled over and tried to breath. I didn't think I liked him like that but I did. The shock of it hit me like a wrecking ball. I looked up as they pulled away. Then the girl flicked her hair. It was pitch black. My guyfriend, possibly crush, was dating my nemesis, Lacey.

I got shakily out of the car, grabbed my bag and walked to the gate.

Once I reached the flirting couple, I got an innocent wave from Lacey and a scowl from Elliot. Lacey kissed him on the cheek while never leaving my eyes for a second and skipped off in the other direction.

Elliot turned to face me with the scowl still on his face. His beauty hit me all at once.

"Did you have fun with your boyfriend?" How did he know? The hurt was apparent on his face.

"Elliot...."

He cut me off. "Lacey is, obviously, my new girlfriend. How does it feel? Let me guess, you are coming to tell me that your sorry?"

His tone was stone cold and it slowly chipped my heart away. I didn't know what to tell him. He sneered, "Should of friend zoned you." He walked away, leaving me more lost than ever.
