....Elliot's POV....

My whole body vibrated with nerves. I heard the rushing water of the creek rushing behind me. Familiar faces filled the chairs in front of me. I make eye contact with Lacey Chariot and smile at her. I look to my left and see that rock. My heart soars as I remember how beautiful she was that night. Music fills the air and I almost break down as I hear what song it is. How to Save A Life by The Fray. Memories flare of her dancing around her room with tears running down her face. Charlie and Hunter walk down the aisle together and take their places, Hunter next to me and Charlie moves to the other side, nervously playing with her engagement ring.

Hunter pulls me into a hug, "Good luck man."

I ruffle his hair, "Thanks."

We had grown close over time. I remember his face when I told him it was his turn 3 years ago.

I instantly forget everyone as I see her.

"Jamie," I whisper her name.

I could barely move.

Her dress was pure white and dragged behind her through the leaves. Her hair framed her face perfectly. Her face broke into grin as she saw me. She was so beautiful.

Her dad had her arm and was smiling at her as she grinned at me. They reach me. She was so close. I could just grab her now and kiss her. Her dad turns her to face him. He lowers her head to place a small kiss on her head.

"I am so proud of you, baby girl."

Jamie sniffs as they connect their foreheads. He pulls away and glance up at me. I smile nervously.

He walks up to me and places a hand on my shoulder, "I would say look after my daughter but I know you will. You were there for her when I wasn't and I can never pay you back for that. Thank you." I wipe at a tear as he walks away. Jamie moves to stand opposite me. My heart skips a beat as I take her in. How do I deserve this? I hold out my hands and she takes them with both of hers. I stroke her knuckles and get lost in her gaze.

Time flies and before I know it, I am sliding the ring on her finger. Everyone cheers as we kiss. I felt her love and mine flowing through each other, connecting forever.
