CHAPTER SIX:

     THE NEXT day, Timothy and David stood outside Elise's place, waiting for the girl who was up in her room, getting dressed for the Quarry. She also didn't own a bathing suit so she said she'd go in her bra and underwear. "I bet ten bucks it's pink and virgin-y underwear. The bra, too." David spoke in the silence and Timothy looks at him.

"Dave, that's gross, shut up." He says as he looks away and David rolled his eyes. Elise came out the house with a smile, getting on her bike as she drives over. "Hey!" She says, waving slightly to them. Timothy and David simultaneously look to each other with the same look. "Why are you so happy?" Timothy asked and David grinned.

"Bet it was a certain ginger hottie." The blonde boy said then Timothy rolls his eyes.

"You think she's hot?" Elise asked and Timothy chuckled as the three started driving. "In a I'd-let-you-bang-my-best-friend way." David says and Elise rolled her eyes. "Last one to the Quarry is a rotten egg, boys!" Elise exclaimed as she started to drive faster, the two doing the same.

At the Quarry, the five other boys were there already except for Beverly, so Timothy and David strip down to their boxers. "Hey tighty whiteys." David said as he approached them, joining them at the cliff, so Timothy does the same, standing between Bill and Ben as David stood between Stan and Richie. Richie spits over the cliff, then David goes next, it goes far and then he looks at Stan.

Stan goes next, then Bill, then Timothy, then Ben until it was Eddie's turn and his spit was close. "You guys are so disgusting.." Elise said with a grimace. "Oh my God, that sucked, I win." David said, grinning and Richie rolled his eyes, the boy was close to winning if it wasn't for David.

"You won?" Eddie asked, looking at David who nods. "Did you see my lougie?" The short boy said and David rolled his eyes, smirking. "Mine went the farthest and it was definitely the green and whitest!" He says then looked at the other boys. "Alright, who's going first?" Bill asked and Timothy grins widely. "Dave would love to." Timothy says and David shook his head. "Nuh-uh, fuck that. Someone else can go then if it's safe and they don't die, then maybe-" "I'll go!" Beverly made the boys all turn to her and Elise who was smiling at her.

She takes off her dress, "sissies. Come on, El." She said then she is running towards the cliff and jumping. Elise followed behind, jumping in towards another area. "What the fuck!" Richie yelled as the girls were jumping. "Ah, shit! We just got shown up by girls! Not even one, two!" Richie says and Timothy chuckled at that.

"Do we have to do that now?" Stan asked.

"Yes," David says then he jumped, "come on!" David said then Timothy jumped as well. "Oh shit.." Stan mumbled as the boys reached the water, swimming with Elise and Beverly. Soon enough Bill followed and when he reached the surface, Timothy smiled at him and Bill smiled back right away as the other three then jump, joining them.

They were all splashing water at each other once in the water, laughing and Eddie was yelling every so often. "Hey! Come here, Timmy! I wanna show you something." David said as he swims towards Timothy. "What, D?" Timothy says and then David shoves him under the water only for him to grab David and start tickling him. As they were doing this, Bill was staring at them, sighing softly.

"Hey Bevvie, get onto my shoulders!" Timothy heard Elise say to Beverly and he swims to Bill. "You should get on my shoulders." He tells him and he goes under the water so Bill can get on his shoulders easily. As Elise and Timothy face each other, Bill reached out, trying to push Beverly off Elise's shoulders, which he then succeeded in doing.

"Yeah!" Timothy shouted as he raised his hands, Bill doing the same with a huge grin on his face. Timothy grabs Bill's waist then pushed the boy off his shoulders, making the boy gasp then fall into the water, he comes to the surface, rubbing his face then he looks at Timothy who he then splashed water at, "come on! W-We're a team and w-we won!" He says and Timothy laughed.

"Oh fuck, something just touched my foot!" Richie exclaimed so Bill and Timothy both look over right away. "Where?" Timothy asked as he swims over. "Right here!" Richie points.

"It's a turtle," Bill said and Timothy looks over. "It's alright, Rich, it's just a turtle." Timothy said before he looks at David and Elise. "Having fun guys?" He asked with a smile and the two look at him, both smiling. "Very. I didn't expect them to be this fun, Eddie and Richie are super funny." David said and Elise nods. "And, I didn't know they were this cool. I thought they'd be losers like you two." She said and Timothy rolled his eyes, smiling.

The five younger boys all stare at Beverly and Elise as David and Timothy whisper to each other about Patrick, Timothy claiming he hasn't heard from him in a while and David saying he was fucked and his boyfriend was dead. "Shut up, don't even joke about that." Timothy whispers.

"Well, it could be possible, just saying, there is a lot of kids going missing. No offense, but you never know.." David said and Timothy sighs as he looks away. Then he noticed the boys staring at Beverly and Elise, well except for Bill, he was looking at Timothy and David, when Timothy looks at him, Bill looks down right away, rubbing the back of his neck. The other boys however kept staring at Beverly and Elise who were laying, sunbathing in their underwear and right when they look over, all the boys looked away, acting as if they weren't staring at all.

Timothy smirked as he rolled his eyes, looking away. "News flash, Ben, school's out for summer!" Richie said and Timothy looks over, David doing the same. "Oh, that? That's not school stuff." Ben said to the bespectacled boy. "Who sent you this?" Richie asked as he held up a card.

"No one! Give it. No one." Ben says after snatching it from Richie's hands. "What's with the History project?" Eddie asked and David walks over to sit behind Richie to look at the folder. "Oh, when I first moved here, I didn't really have anyone to hang out with. So I just started spending time in the library." Ben said as Bill was handed the folder which he started looking through so Timothy walked over to sit on the other side of him.

"You went to the library?" David asked.

"On purpose?" Richie spoke next and Timothy rolled his eyes as he looks at the folder in Bill's hands. Timothy leans closer making Bill look at him. Timothy looks back at him, his hazel eyes staring into Bill's green eyes. Timothy smiles softly before looking back at the folder so, Bill does the same, blushing. "Here, pass it." Elise said. Bill holds it out to Timothy who grabs it to give it to her.

As her and Beverly look at it, "why is it all murders and missing kids?" The brunette girl asked with a confused face. "Derry isn't like any town I've been in before, they did a study once and it turns out people die or disappear six times the national average." Ben said and Timothy looks over at him. "You read about that?" He asked him.

"And that's just grown ups. Kids are worse. Way, way worse.." He said and David looks at Timothy who also looked back at him with the same look. "I've got more stuff, if you wanna see it." Ben said and Timothy nods his head right away as Eddie shook his head, mumbling, "no, no.." And so all nine kids got ready, getting dressed and getting onto their bikes to drive all the way to Ben's place.
