CHAPTER ELEVEN:
WHERE IT LIVES

THE BOYS, Elise and Beverly all got into the garage, Timothy helped Bill put up the map, then the projector is turned on, as Mike closed the garage door. Timothy stands next to Bill at the projector as David stood in the back beside Mike. Elise and Beverly sat on one side of the projector with Ben in front of them as Stan, Eddie and Richie sat on the other side of the projector. "Look," Bill said, pointing and all of them look over at the map.

"That's where G-G-Georgie disappeared.. There's the Ironworks. And the Blackspot. Everywhere It happens, it's all connected by the sewers. And they all meet up at the-" "Well house." Ben cut off Bill. "It's in the house on Neibolt street." Stan said and Timothy looks at him. "You mean that creepy ass house where all the junkies and hobos like to sleep?" Richie said. "I hate that place. It always feels like it's watching me." Beverly said.

"It's where I saw it. It's where I saw the clown." Eddie said. "That's where It lives." Timothy said, looking at Bill who looks back at him. "I can't ever imagine anything ever wanting to live there." Stan spoke up and Timothy looked down. "Can we stop talking about this? I can barely breathe, this is summer, we're kids," Eddie said, now standing up, "I can barely breathe! I'm having a fucking asthma attack! I'm not doing this!" The boy said before turning around and ripping the map off the wall.

"What the hell? Put the map back!" Bill said and the boy shook his head, "mm-hm.." He says and the projector started moving, switching so Bill and Timothy look down. "What the fuck?" Timothy whispers before looking back up at the wall where photos of Bill and his family started to appear on the wall behind Eddie.

"What's going on?" Stan asked with worry and Mike walked over, "hold on," he said, trying to fix the projector that kept going. "Bill.." Timothy said, grabbing his arm but the boy wouldn't budge, staring at the wall. "Bill." He says again as the photo switched to a photo of Bill and his family outside a building. Bill was smiling pretty big, same with Georgie who was holding his brother's hand and his mother's hand, the woman's hair was in her face. "Bill.." Timothy repeated, backing away.

"Georgie.." Bill said and Timothy looks at him, the photo was switching each time it did, it zoomed in on Georgie's face, then it moved to the woman who's hair started to move each time the photo switched. It was Bill's mom at first and then, the clown's face appeared making Timothy gasp lightly, grabbing Bill's arm again. "Bill," he said.

"What the fuck is that?!" Richie yelled and Bill stood still until he turned to Timothy who pulled him close by his arm around Bill. "Turn it off!" Beverly yelled, holding onto Elise tightly to her, the brunette girl had her hands over her ears and her eyes closed tightly. The projector was on the ground and kept moving, switching then the clown appeared again. "Bill.." Timothy whispered, holding Bill's flannel tightly in a fist as he looks away.

"Look at me.." Bill says and Timothy looks up at him. "It's not real.." Bill whispered to him and then he looked back, only to start backing away again, letting go of Bill when the clown came out of the wall, "What the fuck?!" He screamed and then backed away into the corner, only for the clown to come for him. "It isn't real." He whispered, hiding his face as the clown got closer and closer until the garage door was opened. He stood there for a moment, staring at the open space as Bill walked over. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked and Timothy looked at him. "N-No.." He whispers, and Bill hugged him tightly before letting go and looking at their friends.

"It saw us!" Eddie said and they walk back to them at the open garage door. "It knows where we are!" Eddie said again and Timothy looked down, rubbing his eyes. "It always knew." Bill said before walking out and Timothy looked up, watching him. "So, let's go." Bill said and they all looked at him as if he were crazy, except for Timothy.

"Go? Go where?" Ben asked.

"Neibolt. That's where G-G-Georgie is.." Bill said and Timothy looked at the others. "After that?" Stan asked and Timothy looks down. He didn't exactly wanna experience it again either but he also wanted to help Bill. He knows how much Bill wanted to find Georgie. "Yeah, it's summer.. We should be outside." Richie said. "If you say it's summer one more f-f-fucking time.." Bill said and Timothy looks at him. "Bill..." He says softly and Bill looks down, before he is grabbing his bike and driving away.

"Bill!" He yelled, turning to his other friends. "We have to go with him." He says and all of them look down. "Guys." He says then grabbed his own bike, mounting it and driving away, the others followed behind not too long.

They arrive to the house and he gets off his bike, rushing over to Bill on the steps. "Bill.." He says and Bill turns to face him and the others. "Bill, you can't go in there. This is crazy." Beverly said as they all walk in past the gate. "Look, you don't have to come in with me, but what happens when another Georgie goes missing? Or another Betty? Or another Ed Corcoran? Or one of us? Are you just gonna pretend it isn't happening like everyone else in this town? Because I can't.." Bill said and Timothy looks down before looking back at him.

"I go home and all I see is that Georgie isn't there.. his clothes, his toys, his stupid stuffed animals. But.. he isn't. So walking into this house, for me, is easier than walking into my own." Bill said before turning around. He walks up the last few steps as Richie spoke, "wow.."

"What?"

"He didn't even stutter once." Richie said and Timothy walks up the steps. "Bill," he says and the boy looks at him. "I'm coming with you. I'm not letting you go through this all alone.." He says and Bill nods, holding out his hand which Timothy grabbed. It was like they were in a way telling their friends about their relationship, they intertwined their fingers before Bill reached for the doorknob, about to twist it and push open the door.

"Wait," Stan said and all of them looked back at him. "Um.. Shouldn't we have some people keep watch? Just in case something bad happens?" He asked and Bill looks at Timothy who looks back at him. "Who wants to stay out here?" Bill asked and Timothy watched as all of them raise their hands except for Beverly and Elise, the two girls look at them, they all put their hands down.

"Um, shortest.." Timothy whispered to Bill and Bill looks at him. "So.. Eddie and Rich?" He asked and Timothy looks back, nodding.
