Soooooo I made this book basically because I couldn't find any Draco x reader that had Mrs. Weasley adopt me SO HERE I AM WRITING THIS sorry if this sucks. Anyways here's the descripiton:
Y/n Devons is a pureblood witch who goes to Ilvermorny School...
We stepped into the smelly store. There were animals everywhere. I mean it is a pet shop. We were walking as I examined the animals. My head wandered around till a beautiful Screech Owl caught my eye. It had a beautiful feather pattern but that wasn't what I was paying attention to. The thing that caught my eye was its stunning blue eyes. I didn't even know that was scientifically possible! But I mean, it is the Wizarding World. I walked up to it at once and stroked its feathers as it hooted soothingly.

I smiled at it then turned to Ron and the others.
"Its mine. I'm buying this little one." I declared.
"Yeah, okay." Ron said as he continued walking. I let the owl hop onto my arm as I tried to think of a name.
We approached the counter.
"It's my rat. He's been a bit off-color ever since I brought him back from Egypt." Said Ron.
"Bring him on the counter." Said the witch as she pulled some spectacles out of her pocket. Ron took Scabbers from his pocket and set him down. "Hm, how old is the rat?" She asked.
"Dunno." Ron shrugged, "Quite old. He used to belong to my brother."
"What powers does he have?" Asked the witch as she examined Scabbers closely.
"Er—"
"He's been through the mill, this one." Said the witch.
"He was like that when Percy gave him to me." Defended Ron.
"An ordinary or common garden rat like this can't be expected to live longer than three years or so. Now, if you'd like something a bit more hard-wearing, you might like one of these—" she said pointing to some skipping black rats.
"Show offs." Muttered Ron.
"Well if you don't want a replacement, you can try this rat tonic." She said bringing out a small red bottle.
"Okay," Ron replied, "How much— OUCH!" Ron toppled as a huge orange thing zoomed from the top of the highest cage and landed on his head, spitting at Scabbers.
"NO, CROOKSHANKS, NO!" Cried the witch dropping Scabbers as he scampered for the door.
"Scabbers!" Ron called after him while rushing out of the store, Harry close behind him.
"I'd like to buy him, please." Said Hermione as she pet the thing I soon found out was a cat.
"Really!? He seems extremely hard to train."
"Oh he just got excited." Said Hermione lovingly. I rolled my eyes and put the tiny owl on the counter. "Her too, please."
"The owl's 15 Galleons," the witch said, "as for the cat, you can keep him. He's been here for ages. Nobody wanted him."
Hermione beamed, holding Crookshanks close and I let the owl hop onto my arm once more. I still couldn't think of a name, so far the only names that came to mind were types of food. I know I just had ice cream but foooooood.
"We'd better bring this." Said Hermione picking up the rat tonic Ron left. We walked out of the store. Ron and Harry came back, Ron holding Scabbers.
"So where'd he scamper off to?" I asked Ron.
"Quality Quidditch Supplies." He replied.
"Oh yeah, since we got all our stuff, can we go? I know I have to be careful with what I spend since my parents' fortune is being transferred and some papers need to be signed and stuff but, PLEASE!" I begged but Ron paid no attention and stared at the cat in Hermione's arms, "Ron?" I asked.
"You bought the bloody monster?" Ron said open mouthed.
"He's gorgeous, isn't he?" Hermione admired.
"Hermione that nearly scalped me!"
"He didn't mean to, did you, Crookshanks?"
"And what about Scabbers? He needs rest and relaxation! Hows he going to get it with that thing around?"
"That reminds me, you forgot your rat tonic." Said Hermione giving it to Ron. "And stop worrying, Crookshanks will be sleeping in my dormitory and Scabbers in yours, whats the problem? Poor Crookshanks, that witch said he'd been there for ages; no one wanted him."
"I wonder why," Ron said sarcastically as we walked to the Leaky Cauldron.
