(This is still improv, not according to book)
It's Thursday. The day Draco is supposed to get back into classes. I honestly am relieved he is okay. I mean as terrible as he is, he's still a human being, right? I got out of bed and slipped on my uniform. Today, I decided I might as well look nice today so I went ahead and put on a bit of mascara I stole, I mean, borrowed from Lacey. Then I put on a head band I was probably gonna take off later because it made my head itchy.
I made my way towards the Great Hall for breakfast. I planned on doing things "right" and sit at the Slytherin table. However, on my way, I heard murmurs and whispers from the Gryffindor table.
"Yep that's her."
"No way dude."
"Uh-huh, she's basically my sister." I heard Fred's voice say.
"Y/n!" Said George.
I whipped my head around at the call of my name.
"Sit." Said a boy with black hair and sea green eyes. No, it wasn't Harry.
"Guys I don't think I can—"
"SIT." They all said at once.
I went ahead and sat down.
"Are you the girl who rode the Hippogriff?" Asked the black haired, green-eyed boy who wasn't Harry.
"Yes?" I replied.
"Sweet! I'm Percy. Percy Jackson." He said.
"Y/n Devons." I replied sheepishly.
"Look, the twins told me a lot about you and you seem pretty cool. Are you a third year?"
I nodded.
"Me too! Okay I'll cut to the chase," he paused a bit after he said 'chase' and reddened a bit, "I mean, here's the thing, Fred and George tell me you're an excellent Quidditch player and I need tips. See, I really want to make the Gryffindor team but I'm not exactly the 'best' best out there. Think you can help me?"
"Of course," I replied, "We can get started after breakfast if we finish quick enough. Any strength in other sports?"
"Does capture the flag count? It's pretty combative."
"Yeah, sure."
"C'mon, Jackson, are you not going to tell her the reason you want to be on the team?" George elbowed Percy's shoulder.
"Naw guys! It's just 'cause I'm interested in Quidditch, that's all!" He snapped.
"Oh here comes his reason now." Said George, motioning towards the door of the Great Hall.
I looked towards the direction and saw a Ravenclaw student come in. She had tan skin, honey blonde hair that were in princess-like curls and tied back into a loose ponytail. Her striking gray eyes scanned the place before she went to sit at her table.
"That's Annabeth Chase," mumbled George, "Percy likes her."
"Oh please," Percy rolled his eyes but was definitely blushing, "we're just close friends who go to the same Summer Camp."
"Aye, Jackson, she's a Ravenclaw CHASEr." Said Fred.
"Oh haha. Did the smell of the dung bombs melt your brain?" Percy sassed back.
"What position are you going for, Percy?" I asked.
"Chaser," he replied, "and NOT because of Annabeth." He continued.
"Alright, I'll grab some toast and then you can meet me on the Quidditch field when you're done."
He nodded and I left.

I stole one of the spare keys to the locker room from Marcus Flint. Fred and George would be proud. Really proud.
I went ahead and waltzed in there and grabbed an extra Nimbus 2000. I brought my Cleansweep broom. It's not the best broom out there but it gets the job done and I fly it like a pro. Hopefully when I get onto the Slytherin team Draco will be kind enough to get me a Nimbus like what happened last year. I doubt it.
I went out and decided to fly some laps before Percy gets here. After a few minutes, I hear a "Heyyyy!!!!"
I look down and see Percy waving his arms. I land and give him the spare Nimbus.
"You're pretty good on that Cleansweep. I genuinely thought you were riding a Firebolt when you were up there." He said as he took the broom.
"Thanks. You have your own broom?" I asked.
"Yep. A Comet 260. It's in my dorm though."
"Then this might be a little to fast for you," I said taking back the Nimbus from his hands.
"Are you kidding? Nothing is too fast for Percy Jackson! I have conducted quests! I have fought a giant crab on a cruise ship! I—"
"Okay! I get it!" I said shoving the Nimbus back into his hands, not knowing if I should believe him. Probably not.
"So you get the basics of flying?" I ask. He nodded.
"Alright we don't have much time so go ahead and fly around the pitch and I'll see what you need work on." I said. Percy mounted his broom and took off.
He was a fair flyer. Fast but a bit wobbly and careless. If he wants Chaser he's got to work on dodging and quickness. He's pretty stable on a broom though which is a good start. He's done about three laps when I tell him to come down and we can continue after school. The Gryffindors and Slytherins had potions together so we walked together towards the castle. He's from New York so it was nice having another American here with me.
As we walked, he told me about his very eventful Summers. Whether they were made up or not, I'm not sure but they were entertaining.
I'm pleased to say Percy Jackson has been added to my list of very good friends.
