Portkey...what a weird experience! I landed with a thud at Kings Cross Station behind a wall. It took me time to get up because the air was knocked out of me. I stood up with a huff and looked around for the bench. I stopped at platform 9 and found it. I ran up to it and and sat down. I looked into my bag for a book. I found two that would be nice to read, one a No-Maj book from Cassandra (who was born a No-maj) another, a book written by a wizard. Hmmmm, which one? Suzanne Collins or Newt Scamander? I settled with The Hunger Games. I was finishing up a chapter when I heard talking,

"Dumbledore said she'd be here didn't he?"

I looked up and saw a man and woman with bright red hair. The man took notice of me and tapped the woman on the shoulder who also like my direction. She smiled and walked towards me.

"Hello dear, do you happen to be Y/n Devons?"

"Yes ma'am." I said quietly.

"Molly Weasley." she greeted warmly as she stuck out a hand and I took it. The man walked forward and stuck out his hand as well.

"Arthur Weasley." he smiled.

"Well we best be going." Mrs. Weasley announced. Mr. Weasley took my trunk and I swung my bag around my shoulder and clutched my book to my chest. I followed them to light blue Ford Anglia. I got in and I could tell it was bewitched because it was much larger than it looked from the outside. They started driving and we fell into an uneasy silence. I took advantage of this and opened my book once more. Now where was I? Oh right, the Reaping. Several moments passed with just the sound of the radio and me turning the pages until Mr. Weasley broke the silence.

"So Ilvermorny, how is it there?"

"Good, I loved it there, I made very good friends." A pang of sadness rose up in me.

"I'm sure, but Hogwarts will be great too, I assure you." Mrs. Weasley smiled.

I talked about classes at Ilvermorny, my friends, professors, and more. These people seemed great, maybe Hogwarts wouldn't be too bad. We pulled over in a sunny field surrounded by tall, dry grass. We stepped out of the car and my eyes met a house with many floors. It looked a bit like a large stone pigpen but extra rooms and floors had been added to make a lopsided tower. Several chickens were waddling along the grass. A lopsided sign that read the Burrow stuck out of the ground near the entrance. We stepped inside and the house was, although small, very welcoming. I looked around happily.

"Well Y/n," said Mr. Weasley, " welcome to the Burrow."

"Your room is on the 1st floor, dearie, you'll be bunking with Ginny." Said Mrs. Weasley warmly.

I climbed the stairs to the first landing. It was a bit small but welcoming. There was a desk and a note on it,

Dear Y/n Devons,
Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. I'm one year younger than you based on what mum's told me. I'm so excited to have you as a sister! When mum told me, I started jumping! Anyways, Hogwarts is quite all right, I started my first year this year. Rons friends with Harry Potter! He's kind of cute if you ask me. Well I can't wait to meet you!
                                        Ginny Weasley
Ps. You can have the top bunk :)

I smiled at the note. Ginny seems like a sweet girl. The Harry Potter? No way. I went to my trunk and started unpacking. As I did so, I came across one of my favorite book series. I started to tear up a bit since my parents bought the books for me as a gift for my tenth birthday. I put them away, along with my other books, sorting them between muggle stories and magic ones. I went down to Mrs. Weasleys calls for dinner. I got to know them better over dinner. I learned of Mr. Weasleys love for No-Maj's or Muggles as they call them, might as well start calling them that too. After dinner, I got ready for bed and continued to read my book.

_______Time skip brought to you by me wanting to introduce the Weasley kids already__________________________

I've been at the Burrow for three days now, its been very quiet since it was mostly Mrs. Weasley and me. Mr. Weasley had work so I only saw him a few hours a day. I usually helped Mrs. Weasley clean and cook or otherwise, exploring the house. On my second day at the Burrow, I ventured up to the attic where I found a rather annoying ghoul, and during breakfast, I looked into a mirror and it told me to brush my hair. I was wandering about the house when I came across a room that stood ajar, it was labeled Ronalds room. Curiosity took over my respect of privacy and I pushed the door slightly open. My eyes were attacked by a room covered in a violent shade of orange. I looked around a bit more and I could tell that this person was a Chudley Canons fan. They were okay when it came to English or Irish Quidditch teams, I was a Holyhead Harpies girl. I shut the door and strode off.
