Amelia POV (For anyone who watches Supernatural, this isn't the same Amelia as the show, just accidently picked the same name)

I hated that Sam didn't sleep in the bed with us but I knew he was hurt that Charlotte was so scared. She was only a year old and I knew that she was just scared about the situation, not Sam himself.

The kids were finally asleep and I couldn't stand the being alone any longer, especially in this ocean of a bed.

"Sam, they're both asleep. Why don't you come up now?" I called and I saw his head pop up has he sat up from the floor.

"When they wake up and see me in the bed they're going to freak out. I don't want to scare them anymore then what I already have." Sam said sadly.

"They aren't scared of you, they're scared of the everything that's happening. You know that they love you." I said has I started to walk towards him.

"Right now those two are one in the same. It's okay, I don't mind sleeping down here tonight." Sam said.

I let out a heavy sigh, "But I mind, I want you up here. From our point of view, this is like an ocean and it's worse without you in it. Just come lay down." I said.

Sam smirked can motioned for me to move back. He slid into bed and I could feel every sensation of the bed moving while he did so. He laid on his side and I climbed onto his pillow.

"Now was that so hard?" I asked has I sat in front of him.

"I'm just trying to do what's best for you guys. The last thing I want to do is scare anyone." Sam admitted.

"I know you don't, but it's scarier without you." I said has I put my hand on his cheek, noticing the wedding band around my finger and I let out a small laugh.

"What?" Sam asked with a smirk.

"Just seeing my wedding band and thinking about the first time we met. Seems like a lifetime ago." I said has I pulled my hand back.

"You mean way back on that demon hunt in New York?" Sam smiled.

"Back in that stupid bar by the motel 8." I smiled, staring into those hazel eyes.

"The demon was on a rampage, and even though he was a pain in the ass I'm still so grateful for him." Sam said has he pulled the covers up to me.

"You're grateful for a demon?" I asked.

"Everyday I thank whatever is up above for that demon because if it weren't for that demon then I would've never met the love of my life." Sam said.

"We would've found each other one way or another. I don't think anyone would be able to put up with you the way I do." I smiled and caused him to laugh a little.

"I had to win you over, you didn't want to give me the time of day." Sam smiled and I could tell we both went into our minds to reflect about that night we met.

*Flashback* (Sam POV)

"I don't understand the pattern, I mean none of the victims are connected." I said has I looked through my notes, sitting in the front seat of the Impala.

"Dude, it's time to get your head out of the notes. Come on, let's grab a drink." Dean said has he put the car in park and pulled the keys out.

"I don't want to go strolling for girls Dean, I want to figure out what's going on with this demon." I said.

"Well look, we have been banging our heads against the walls. Let's just try to take a look at with fresh eyes, we aren't going to get anywhere the way we're doing it now. Come on Sammy." Dean said has he opened the door and motioned for me to follow him.
