Dean POV

"You are really in a rush to get home." Sam said has he was putting all of his notes back in his backup.

"Yeah, I do. I want my normal. I love the hunt, but we have a little normal now." I said has we turned down our road, only having Sam's house and my house on it.

"You used to say that normal would make your head explode, now your racing down the road to get to it. It's just funny how life can change to something you never expected." Sam said.

"Yeah, yeah, but at least we aren't in the suburbs." I joked and then I pulled into my driveway.

Sam and I both got out of the car and grabbed our bags off the backseat. Has we looked between the two of our houses, something seemed to be off.

"The kids should be running out here, Amelia and Emma would've been at the door, something's not right." Sam said.

"Calm down, let's not worry until we have to. Go in and check out your house, I'll check mine, and keep me posted okay?" I said has I pulled out my gun.

We both spilt ways and headed towards our houses but before Sam got to far, I got his attention, "Sam."

"Yeah?" He said with his gun on the ready.

"Be careful, keep on your toes." I said.

"Not my first rodeo Dean." Sam smirked and entered his house.

"Won't be last the one either." I said has I entered my own house.

"Hey, I'm home." I called has I tossed my bag down next to the door and kept my gun up.

There was no answer and has I walked through the living room, I noticed the silence. Our house was never silent, not with two kids and it made the quiet almost deafening.

"Emma?" I called has I looked through our kitchen, still not seeing or hearing anyone.

"Cole? Daisy?" I called has walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs.

I briefly looked in Daisy's room but she never wanted to sleep in there so it was no surprise to see that it was empty. She liked to sleep in Cole's room since she thought it was safer. I looked in Emma and I's bedroom and saw that it was also empty. Cole's room was the last room to check, and my heart was pounding so loud that I thought it was going to jump out of my chest.

"Cole? Daisy? Emma? You guys in here?" I asked has I stepped through the already open door.

At first I thought that this room was no different then the rest but right has I was about to walk out, I heard the faintest cry. "Daddy."

I stopped dead in my tracks and looked back into the room. I knew that I heard something but no one was standing there.

"Cole? Daisy?" I asked again has I turned on the light.

Has the light turned on, I saw something move along the floor and my eyes immediately caught it. I stepped forward and dropped to my knees, noticing that the small figure was actually Daisy. "Hey, it's okay it's me." I said calmly, seeing the fear in her eyes has she stared up at me.

"Daddy." Daisy cried has she ran up to me.

She only stood at a few inches tall, from what I could tell, and when I put my hands down she ran right into them. I lifted her up and held her against my chest, stroking her back has she gripped my shirt and cried.

"You're okay, I got you." I said over and over again until she calmed down.

"What happened Daisy?" I asked softly.
