Maleficient laid her staff on the wall. A group of wolves ran into the room she was in then stopped. The one with grey fur stepped forward.
"Maleficient," roared the voice of Lazlo, "we have searched for days. We need to rest."
"Rest comes after a task is completed. You have not completed the simple task of finding a princess. A simple, blonde girl living with three stupid fairies! How difficult is that?" The wolves yelped and bent down.
"You are my Alpha, but not one who I would give my life for."
"Maleficient!" growled a wolf running to her.
"What is it?" She hissed. The wolf stopped in front of her then bent down.
"We found a human in the woods."
"Aurora?"
"Nay, Maleficient, but he had her scent."
"What did he look like?"
"Tall and brunette."
"Did he have a horse?" Asked a wolf walking in.
"Yes."
"I know who! He is a prince!"
"A prince?" Maleficient asked.
"He walks through the woods. Her scent is always with him."
"A prince." she grabbed her staff. and walked towards Lazlo. She pointed her staff at him. "You won't give your life for me, but you are still loyal to your alpha."
The staff glowed as Lazlo bent down in submission.
"Find the prince," she began, "you will bite him."
Phillip was guiding his horse through the woods. The sky grew dark but they were not close to the inn.
"Almost there, friend," he patted the horse.
The sound of a creature moving through the bushes grew. He stopped for a moment to look at the surroundings. After no creature appeared, he continued moving forward on his path.
A wolf walked behind Phillip as it growled. He turned his head around and almost fell off the horse. The wolf howled and the horse leaped as it ran away from it with Phillip tightly holding on to the horse.
As the horse jumped over a log, Phillip fell to the ground. He looked at the horse who continued running without him.
The wolf slowly approached him as it barred it's teeth. He stood up and extended his hands in front of him, as if it could stop the wolf. For every step the wolf took forward, Phillip took one back. It went on like that until Phillip backed up into a tree. The wolf continued walking forward. Phillip took a look at his surroundings and tried to run from the wolf. The wolf lunged at him.
"Aaahhh!" Phillip yelled in pain as the wolf bit his arm.
