A trip of a lifetime... A whirlwind full of unresolved emotions. And a roller coaster-bonded relationship. Advice from the professionals are 'Keep work and your private life separate', but is there a help guide for an irredeemable past?
It was Friday and the boys desperately wanted me to join them at the club. I said no, but somehow I ended up finishing my makeup with setting spray. I got up from my stool to look in the mirror. I wore a cream dress, that I had difficulty with to put on, due to the way I had to tie it up etc. It was nicely fitted on my body, which showed my physique. I wore simple cream heels to match them. This look seemed quite or shall I say half elegant, or maybe much for a club. But then again, the boys did say it was a VIP club and people usually dress quite nice. In addition, his means I'm going to have to spend all of my pocket money, due to how expensive drinks will be.

As I walked out my bedroom to meet the twins and once I was in their presence they gasped in shock. They kept on complimenting me and hyping me up.
"We're going to drink it up!" exclaimed Joe.
"I haven't got a lot of spending money to get drunk in this club." I laughed.
"Well we'll be paying for you, we know the owner of the club and will be getting a discount." Joe said with a hint of slyness on his face as he quickly shot a mischievous look at his brother.
"You two are always getting a discount, like who are you? Gangsters?" I said in a weird Korean voice and they both laughed.
"No, but we know how to get what we want. Now come on, let's get drunk tonight!" exclaimed Johnny, before we left. ... When I stepped foot in the club I felt like a celebrity. Most of these people clearly haven't seen a real black woman, but they didn't offend so I was cool with it. Lots of men wolf-whistled at me or tried to approach me, but I objected all. Me and the boys drank, drank and drank until we were quite tipsy before we began dancing crazily on the dance floor. The DJ was amazing, he really knew what music was. When he played a dancehall track I lost my cool. I legit started twerking, and whining like I had no boundaries. When all the hyping was done I went back to the bar. I didn't know where the boys were off to, but by the looks on their face something naughty I assume. Me on the other hand was wanting to have another drink or two before calling it a night.
As I went to the bar I sat next to a familiar face. His long shoulder length hair was out, rather than in a bun, which still made him attractive. He looked smart but casual at the same time, it was like setting eyes on a different person which intrigued my already content being. Due to the atmosphere side of things, he seemed sort of sad, but me being me I don't like when people are sad, therefore I will attempt to speak to him. Maybe, this may be inappropriate due to our professional roles, but then again we're both sitting and drinking carelessly at a club.
"Um.. Hey!" I said courageously. He looked at me with a raised brow. "I didn't know you were the type of person to go out to a club." I said in a jokey tone, despite my serious statement. It was my sad effort to try and enlighten his mood.
"Well is seems you don't actually know me, Ms. Peters." He stated bluntly, with a coldness hinted.
"Well to have a good work ethic between us, let me get to know you. That way I can also cheer you up from your sorrows." I smiled, believing that my excuse was bang on.
