Saerin POV

after dinner, Kaho and I was talking to each other.

"so Saerin, since you're just living with Taeyun now. what are you gonna do?"

"well, I've been planning on applying for a part-time job on wednesday"

"what kind of part-time?"

"hotel-bed making"

"really? how about taeyun?"

"could you take care of Taeyun while I'm gone?"

"sure. I can bring the twins here if you want"

"yes please, um.. is it okay with you?"

"of course! we're best friends. we should trust eachother"

trust huh I thought

"oh um Kaho?"

"hmm?"

"can you come grocery shopping with me?. I know it's already 7:30pm but It will be quick, I just need to buy new water bottles and a bunch of snacks"

"I don't understand. why not just drink the tap water?"

"I think it's dirty.. oh come on! let's go"

-at the grocery-

"oh my goodness, Saerin I just saw a new my little pony stuff toys so Imma go buy it for the 3"

"you don't have to buy yunyun those.. he already has too many iron man stuff toys from Jungkook"

"oh c'mon Saerin. just for today? it's halloween"

I looked at her with a poker face

"it's October 3rd"

"OCTOBER IS HALLOWEEN"

"ugh fine, meet me at the Snacks corner"

she went to the toys corner while I looked for some snacks

when I was just walking past the clothes section I saw a famillar figure

I looked at them and saw Hoseok

we met eyes and I quickly look away and walked faster

my breathing was becoming intense each step

"Saerin?"

I stopped and slowely looked behind me

"o-oh h-hey Hoseok w-what a coincidence"

Hoseok POV

"I heard about the news"

I saw her shoulders loosen and her eyes turned blank

"r-really, you must've think of how bad I am as a w-wife and a mother"

I shooked my head "I was just wondering if it's true"

Saerin POV

I looked down to think.. should I tell Hoseok?

no. I won't mess up their friendship

"y-yes.. it w-was true" curse my stuttering

Third POV

Saerin was sweating and the stuttering didn't help either. she just hoped that he won't notice her lie

Hoseok looked at her suspicously "I can tell that you're lying"

"no I'm not!" she whispered yell

"Saerin, we've been best friends since middle school along with Kaho. surely you know that we know you better than anyone else"

Saerin felt her heart ache. both him and Kaho were there for her when school was torturing her. but now she knows that Hoseok won't be there for her since it will make everything more complicated

thank god Jimin forgot that Kaho's still her best friend

if not then Jimin would threaten to kill her too, and Saerin doesn't want that. even if Jimin will go to jail. that doesn't heal the fact that he killed the most precious things in her life

"but I ca- Saerin I'm back! oh, hi Hoseok"

"hey Kaho, oh. still obsessive with ponies?"

"hush! they're for the kids"

"right. oh and have you heard the news?"

"she knows everything, Hoseok"

"...about what?--Ohh yes yes that's true"

Kaho leaned to whisper in Saerin's ear

"should we tell him?"

"No"

"but Saerin— no."

"am I missing something?"

Kaho POV

oh, Hoseok you're missing everything

for those who doesn't understand why Hoseok is on Saerin's side, I kinda editted Chapter 12 so please reread the part where the other members was comforting Jimin.
