Married To Mr. Devil

CHAPTER 1

Nick's Pov:

"Nickkkkkkk.... Mark is already here. Get your ass down here." My aunt shouted from the downstairs.

"Geez, woman, just tell him to wait for 5 minutes. I'll be downstairs soon." I shouted from my room.

After I picked my bag I made my way to downstairs where my friend Mark was already waiting for me.

"Hi, Mark" I said.

"Hi Nick, are you ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, come on. Let's go" I said and he nodded.

"Nick what about breakfast?" my aunt asked from the kitchen.

"No, it's alright Jessie. I'm already late for my class." I said.

"It's okay Ms. Jessie. We'll fetch something on our way" Mark said politely to her.

"Okay then. Take care boys, bye." She said and returned to work.

We left the house and entered in Mark's car. After about 20 minutes we reached our campus. Mark parked his car on the parking lot and we got out. As soon as we did I was tackled by my friend Alex. Alex and I were friends since forever and she was like a sister to me.

"Nick..." she screamed while hugging me tightly.

"Alex, is nice to meet you too, can you let me go? I can't breathe." I said.

"Alex, let the poor boy go" my friend Kevin came for my Rescue.

"Oops sorry." She said and let go of me.

As soon as she did Kevin wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to his side.

"Hi guys" he greeted us and we nod back.

Kevin and Alex were dating since high school. These three are my friends and my only friends. We always hang out together.

"Come on guys let's go to class. We already late" Mark said and we started to go to our class.

This was our first year in college and we are all in the same class. The classes were gone as usual. When it's time for lunch we all packed our stuffs in our bag and headed for the canteen. Once we got our food we made our way to our usual table. No one besides us sit in our table.

We took our seats and began to eat. Half way through my lunch one of my class mate approached me. I think her name is 'Emma'.

"Hey, Nick" she greeted me.

"Hey Emma, what's up?" I asked.

She stood beside our table and asked. "Are you free this weekend? You know we don't even have classes on Friday. So, I thought maybe we could spend the weekend together" she said and I just stared at her.

Of course she was in some of my classes but we never really spoke to each other. It's just side way glances and greetings. We don't really know about each other but Still, she was here and asking me out. I don't know what to say. It's not like she is not pretty. She was beautiful but I never hung out with others, it's always just me and my friends.

I turned to my friends and looked at them pleadingly asking for help. Fortunately Alex decided to help me.

"Sorry Emma, but we already have plans for the weekend. Actually we planned this long time ago. So, he can't. Maybe next time?" she said and looked at her apologetically.

"Ohh" Emma said disappointment in her face but she quickly covered it with her smile.

"It's okay. Maybe next time" she said and left our table.

I turned to Alex and thanked her. Then Kevin started to speak.

"So, we don't have classes on Friday?" he asked.

"Yeah, we didn't know that" I said.

"So, we have three days free. What we are going to do?" Alex said.

"I have an idea" Mark said and we all turned to look at him.

"Why don't we go to my family's beach house and enjoy the weekend there?" he asked with an excitement in his voice.

I and Alex looked at each other grinning widely.

"Hell, yeah" we both shouted and others smiled at us while muttering a word 'girls' and I snorted at them.

"Then it was settled. We can use my car; it was 2 hours travel anyway. So we can save our fuel. I will pick you guys in the Friday morning." he said and we all agreed.

Did I say Mark is rich? Well, he is the richest person in our group. Most of the time, we spend our weekend in his house. His parents are nice though.

After we planned for the weekend Alex and Kevin are agreed to came to my house to wait for Mark. After we finished our lunch we started to go to our classes. Today is Wednesday so we have only one more day. I can't wait to go to beach.

After some boring lectures the final bell rang and we all packed our stuffs and made our way to the parking lot. Alex and Kevin said their good bye and left us.

Mark unlocked his car and we both took our seats. After we reached my home I unlocked my seat belt and waved a good bye to Mark before climbing out.

When I entered into the house as usual it was empty. My Aunt is always come home late because of her work. After my parents were died in the car accident she took me in. At least that is what she said. She said I was 6 when my parents died. So, she took me in and raised me like her own son. Every guys she dated left her when they knew she has me and after few times she stopped trying and stayed single for me and I love her for that.

After locking the door I made my way upstairs to my room. I placed my bag on the table and throw myself in the bed.

After 10 minutes I got up and showered and changed into new clothes. I decided to make a dinner so I went downstairs to kitchen.

I get all the ingredients from the fridge to make a dinner. After about an hour I finished the dinner and placed them in the dinner table. I decided to wait for my aunt to return to eat with her. I sat on the couch and watched a movie in the television to kill the time. I don't have any home work to do because I finished all of them in my free period.

When Jessie came home she looked exhausted. When she saw the dinner was already cooked she thanked me and go to her room to change. Ten minutes later she returned and we ate our dinner silently. After we finished our food I told her to go to bed and I will wash the plates. She thanked me again before going back to her room.

After cleaning the dishes I switched off all the lights in the living room before made my way to upstairs. I brushed my teeth and changed into pajama pants before going to bed. As soon as I lay on the bed I drifted off into a sleep.
