CHAPTER 2

Nick's pov:

The next morning I woke up with the alarm sound. I shut off my alarm while groaning. I stood up from my bed and opened the bathroom door. After I finished my daily routine I changed into some fresh clothes and made my way to downstairs.

Mark is not arrived yet and luckily I still have some time to finish my breakfast. Jessie was cooking and it smelled like waffles. I put some into my plates and sat on the kitchen stool to eat my breakfast.

Suddenly I remembered that I didn't tell her about the trip and decided to ask her if it was okay.

"Hey Jessie, we don't have classes tomorrow so we have three days as holidays. Mark invited us to his beach house to enjoy the weekend, do you mind if I go with them?" I asked.

"Of course not dear and don't worry about me I will be okay. You can go and enjoy with your friends." She said and smiled at me. I returned the smile and the door bell rang at the moment.

"It's probably Mark, I am going now" I said while picking my bag and made my way to the door. But when I opened the door I was met with two strange persons.

There was one Man and women and both are wearing a Business suits. They both look like a Rich persons.

"Mmm Hello, how can I help you?" I asked awkwardly.

The lady smiled at me and asked. She was really a beautiful woman.

"Is this Ms. Jessie's house?" she asked politely. I nodded and replied.

"Yes, she is my aunt. I will call her come on in." I said and opened the door widely for them to enter.

They both entered inside and I closed the door.

"Oh, it means you're Nick?" the women asked surprised.

"Yeah, it's me. Do I know you?" I asked but before she answers my Aunt came out from the kitchen.

"Nick who's in the Door?" she asked but as soon she saw them she froze in her tracks looking terrified.

I want to ask what's wrong but before I could the door bell rang again.

"Nick, it might be Mark who is in the door. It's already late you can go I will talk with them." She said.

I was confused and wanted to ask what's wrong but the bell rang again. 'I will ask her tonight' I thought and left the matter for now.

I got the door and as expected Mark was standing there with his bright smile. "Ready to go?" he asked and I nodded.

We both entered in his car before drove off. On the way to college Mark asked who's car in the driveway and I told him I have no idea. Just two people wanted to meet my Aunt.

When we reached the parking lot Kevin and Alex are waiting for us. Together we all made our ways to the class. Throughout the class I was thinking about the two strangers I met today. They really looked so rich and I was really surprised when the women said my name.

I was deeply in my thought and I didn't even realize the period was already ended. Mark shook my shoulder and I was snapped out of my thoughts. He asked me what's wrong but I told him that's nothing.

We all made our way to the cafeteria and once we got our food we sat in our usual table. Alex was so excited about tomorrow and she was practically jumping in her seat and Kevin was having a hard time to cool her down.

After the lunch we all go to our next classes. No one listening to the class, everyone was talking about the weakened and what they are going to do. After the last bell rang we all packed our stuffs in the bag and left the class.
