CHAPTER 9

We all entered in the house it was even bigger than outside. Alex and Kevin are there with me the whole time. Jessie was talking with Mr. and Mrs. Robert. After a while of tour we all go to upstairs to an empty room and simply sat there with a small talk.

I didn't saw James since we came here and I don't care. After a few hours Ellen came to us and told us to get ready for the party. She gave me my suit and left the room.

"Did you saw James?" she asked but I shook my head 'no'.

She said ok and left the room. Alex helped me to get ready and when we all got ready it was already Half past six.

When we came downstairs I saw a lot of people in the living room drinking and talking with each other. I also saw James with his friend Liam and when I reached there Mr. and Mrs. Robert immediately came to my side.

They also called James and they introduced us to everyone. I simply said 'Hi' and smiled at the people and I noticed James was annoyed with this. He excused himself and went somewhere. But after while he didn't came back so Mrs. Robert told me to look for him.

I nodded and went to search for him. I searched all over the living room and the garden outside but can't find him.

I was about to give up but thought to check the rooms if he was taking rest. I searched few of the rooms but can't find him. Finally I came to a stop at a last room in the corner of the hall way and I pushed opened the door.

I gasped and I felt my heartache at the sight in front of me. James was kissing a girl and they both were moaning so loud. The girl I don't know what her name was wrapping her arms around James neck and he was grasping her ass firmly while kissing her.

I felt tears prickle my eyes but i refused to let them out. James is facing towards me and his eyes were closed. Once he opened his eyes he stopped kissing her and removed his arms away from her.

"What do you want?" he barked at me.

The girl she was kissing before turned towards me and she frowned at me. As if realization hit her she scurried away from him and looked between two.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry. I didn't know you were..." she started to say but James waved her off.

"Don't freak out." he said and turned towards me. "What do you want?" he asked this time with a low tone.

"Your mother asked me to get you" I said hoping I didn't sound as vulnerable as I am feeling.

"Ahhh, I will be in a minute. You can go now." he said and brought the girl towards him.

I nodded and closed the door. As soon as I closed the door I ran upstairs trying hard not to cry. Once I reached the room I fell on the bed and let out a cry I was holding this long.

'Why? Why this is all happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?' I thought and cried even harder.

I don't want to be here. I want to be back in my own room. I want this all to be a dream. But I know it's not and it hurts like hell.

A few minutes later the door opened and Kevin and Alex came inside.

They both took a seat beside me and asked. "Nick what happened?" Kevin asked.

I can't able to answer so I just continued to cry. "Nick, please tell us what happened?" this time it was Alex who spoke to me.

"I hate him Alex. I fucking hate him." I said and cried.

"Ellen told me to search for him because he excused himself in the middle of introducing us to everyone and when I go to search for him I saw him with a girl inside a room. They were kissing and making out." I said and started to cry even harder.

"When he saw me looking at him he didn't looked like he was sorry. He just yelled at me what I want and told me he will come back in a minute and told me to get out." I said.

Alex was fuming with anger.

'That Bastard, I will go and beat the shit out of him" Kevin said and stood up from the bed and my eyes widened.

"Kevin No, please Don't" I said and he looked at me.

"He made it clear that he wants nothing to do with me. If he doesn't want us to work then I am not going to either. The betrothed said that we have to make it work at least for two years then only we can apply for the diverse. I have to live in this hell for next two years." I said.

When I finished speaking the door opened and Mrs. Robert entered. "Honey, what are you doing here? Everyone asking for you" she said.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Robert I just feel tired. I'll be downstairs in few minutes." I said and she nodded and left.

"What are you going to do Nick?" Alex asked me.

"I'm going to show him that I am not a weak person Alex. If I can't question him then he can't either. I am going to show him that two can play the game." I said and Alex smiled at me. With that we left the Room and made our ways to downstairs.
