James pov:

"Nick" I called out and he snapped out of his thoughts.

It's him. I finally found him. Happiness swelled in my chest and I took one step closer to him but he took one step back with terrified expression which broke my heart into million pieces.

"Dad what's wrong?" the kid asked and we both looked at him at the same time.

'Dad? Does that mean...?' but before I ask anything Nick spoke.

"Nothing baby, we're going to leave okay?" he said and left the room.

"Nick please wait..." I said following him but stopped by Henry.

"No James, wait let him Go." He said and caught my wrist stopping me from going after Nick.

"Let me go Henry." I said.

"No, not until you explain what's happening here. How do you know Nick? Why is he so terrified when he sees you...." He trailed off and I sighed.

"I can explain you later but now I have to go, please" I asked but he shook his head.

"No James, you maybe my friend but Nick is someone so special to me and I won't let anyone hurt him. Now tell me how you know Nick and why he is so afraid of you and more importantly why the hell Alan looks exactly like a carbon copy of you?" he said and nearly shouted at the end of the statement.

I sighed and looked at the ground. There is no way He will let me leave until I give him explanation. Hendry is always protective of people he loves.

"He looks exactly like me because he is my son and I am his father." I said.

"What? Are you kidding me? What about Nick?" he asked with confusion.

I bite my lips. If Nick didn't tell him then he definitely doesn't want anyone to know about this but I can't escape from Henry if I didn't tell the truth.

"Are you going to speak or what?" Henry asked.

I finally heaved a sigh and spoke.

"Alan is my son and I'm his biological father. Nick is his mother and he is the one who gave birth to Alan." I finished.

I looked at Henry and saw him staring right at me not moving. He just stood there like a statue.

After few seconds he spoke.

"I think I'm going to faint. I swear man if this is your sick joke I am going to punch you square in the face." he said but I just stared at him like 'really?'

"You're serious aren't you? You're telling the truth. But... but how.. it's impossible...Nick is a boy.... what about your marriage?" he asked with a struggling words.

"The one I am married to is Nick, he's my husband and Alan is our son. He left me five years ago more or less when he found out he's pregnant." I said.

"Why?" he asked.

And then I started to tell him everything that happened since form the day that my parents told me I am going to getting married. He just listened to everything I said not interrupting anywhere.

After I finished he sighed and looked up at me. There it is, the disappointment in his eyes.

"You know you can't blame him for leaving you and he has every reason to look scared of you. You literally destroyed his life and seeing you after five years might took a toll on him." he said.

"You're right. But I can't let him go again from my life. You have no idea what I have gone through in those past five years not knowing where is he or is he even alive or not. I know what I did was wrong but I want to make up for it but he didn't want me." I said and a tear rolled down on my face.
