CHAPTER 8

James pov:

After we left the coffee shop we returned to Liam's house. I don't know why I said such things like that to Nick. But how did he know that I was playing around?

"Do you really think Nick was like that?" Liam asked. We were sitting in his living room and drinking.

"I don't know and I really don't know why I said something like that to him." I said.

Liam nodded. "What are you going to do next?" I asked.

"If I know I shouldn't have asked for your help in the first place." I said.

"I think you should agree to this marriage." He said and I stared at him with a look saying 'what the fuck?'

"See dude, your parents made it pretty clear that they will do anything to make this marriage happen. So, why don't you go along with it? It's not like it's going to change anything. You can still be the person you are. You can still fool around. Just because you are married to that kid doesn't mean you have to be a good husband. If he can't take it then he will leave you. Either way you will have benefits." He said.

To be honest, I was surprised for what he said but it doesn't look like a bad idea to me. He was right. What if I got married? It doesn't going to change anything. I still can be however I want. I can still enjoy the life.

I smiled at my friend and he smirked at me. 'Yeah, I decided what I am going to do'.

So, that's what I did. I called my parents and told them I agree to this marriage. They were suspicious about it but didn't question which I was grateful for.

Nick's pov:

I never thought my life would become like this. I never thought that I will get married to a man that I hate every fiber of my body. But her I am standing in the alter about to get married.

I want to cry, I want to run away from here and to shout I don't want to get married to this person but I know I can't.

I can see my friends standing in front of me with a worried look and I can see how clearly Hurt Mark was. I didn't know he liked me this much. I was a moron to not realize that he liked me. But I can't do anything about it now. it was too late.

"Now you may kiss your groom" the priest said bringing me out of my thoughts.

I turned and locked my eyes with James. I can see the disgust and anger in his eyes but he did what he told. He lowered his head and I brought my head towards his. It was simple peck but it still sends shivers down my spine. I frowned. What was that?

When I saw James he also has the same look on his face but he quickly covered it. The crowd cheered and I saw my aunt who was having tears in her eyes. I don't know whether it was because she was happy or worried about me.

When I turned towards my friends I only saw Kevin and Alex but not Mark. I sighed and turned another side and saw James parents smiling at us.

I walked down on the aisle towards my aunt and once I reached her she hugged me tightly and cried even harder. I wanted to cry too but I stopped my tears for her sake. She left go of me and wiped her tears away from her face and smiled at me.

Alex and Kevin came to me and hugged me. "Where is Mark?" I asked.

"He left after you exchanged your vows. He was really hurt Nick." Kevin said and I dropped my head.

"Don't feel guilty Nick, you didn't know he liked you and even if you do you can't do anything about it. He will get over it and move on." Alex said and added an 'I hope so' at the end of the statement.

I nodded and about ask something when Mrs. Robert came to me and said it was time to go.

We walked outside and saw a luxurious car was waiting there along with few cars.

I and James got into the first car and others are entered into the remaining cars. The ride was a just a few minutes before we came to the stop at the huge mansion.

The door opened and we got out. I am not kidding when I said it was mansion because it was a freaking mansion. James didn't even wait for me he just got out and made his way to the front door.

"Nick, this is going to be your new house. We bought it for you and James. I hope you like it." Mrs. Robert said and I just stared at her.

"You bought this mansion just for two of us?" I asked.

"Yeah, we thought it would be better if we gave you both some privacy. We planned to send you guys to honeymoon trip but you declined It." she said.

"But this is too big for the two of us" I said.

"It's okay Nick, when we came to visit you or have some special occasion there has to be enough space for all of us." She said and continued.

"The Party is going to be evening at 6. Please ready for that. Now you can go and explore the place. All your things are already here. We even bought some new things for you. It was in the room where you're staying with James." She said and I frowned.

'There is no way I am going to stay in the same room with him' I thought.
