AN: In the beginning of this chapter, the reason Samson acts like that is not because of a 'crush' he just doesn't really know how to work with people that much, he doesn't understand emotion as well as others.

This was bad. So bad. Samson's heart was tight and pretty much having a fit. Mavis just ran into him in the hall and she seemed like she'd pushed him off a cliff, by accident. And he didn't even say anything he just got up and went to his room, he didn't even apologize.

After getting dressed and such he waited for more people to wake up to go downstairs. Tucker and everyone else said happy birthday but not him. He wasn't sure what to make of her staying here.  He scowled at his plate, what was he supposed to say?

                        ~~~
    After breakfast, he knew how she felt about her savvy. He could say something. Like something, encouraging? Maybe.
He was on dish duty. So when he was washing all the dishes, Tucker and momma went outside to do stuff while poppa went to get presents with Gypsy. What was Mavis doing you ask, pacing the kitchen behind him. But then she just stopped. He could feel her eyes on him. Stop staring! He continued to do the dishes as if everything was normal. But it wasn't! She walked up next to him by the counter, picked up a towel and started to dry the dishes.
"Um, s-sorry for bumping into you in the hall I wanted to um, make sure that my savvy d-didn't  hurt anyone." She said shyly.
"It's not your fault," I said setting aside a glass that was broken, along with the shards. She looked at him and nervously.  "Look, none of this is your fault. You running into me, and acting like it was the end of the world, isn't necessary." He said it quickly so she'd leave him alone. She stood there still. "You don't need to help me, you're the guest," I said sourly so she'd get the idea.
"Oh no it's fine, I need something to distract me." She said. I made a face at her, she wanted to do dishes?
"Seriously?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, you know, nerves an all."
"Oh."
"Hey, do you guys have a radio in here?" She said looking around the room. "It would be a lot more fun with some music."
He nodded walking over to it and turning it on to the best station he knew and turning it up loud. They continued to finish all the dishes and put them away. I noticed that the glass that was broken was not anymore... I didn't think much of it then. Once she warmed up to him Mavis sang and spun around while drying and putting away the dishes that he cleaned.  Her smile lit up the whole room. He swore to himself if anything went wrong today that smile would disappear for a long time and she knew it too.
AN: Ahhhh, this chapter is so short, I swear, some of the other are longer. Just in the beginning it's kind of boring, sorry, later on in the story it gets way better trust me.
