Chapter 3: Unnecessary Tension

Y/N Pov...

I wake my team up before dawn so that way we can get Aaron acquainted with all of the other teammates again. Since he's been gone for a year, he needs to find out all of their abilities and learn how to work with them. But he doesn't know mine so that will be separate.

I tell everyone to get to the training station asap, we will be doing personal training sessions with teams and chosen partners. Since we nearly failed our last heist we need to begin to enhance our skills and sense of detection. 

"Aaron, hold up. I need to speak with you for a moment."

He stops in his tracks and looks at me like a kid who got caught sneaking cookies. I motion for him to come over to me as I walk towards the couch. 

"I want you to get to know the team again. I'll be calling in a few trainers to help you get settled and to show you what you need to know for being here again. They are all close companions of mine and I trust them. My only rule for you is this, don't disrespect them, or mislead them. If they give you an order, follow it. Understood?"

He nods with approval and begins to get up before I raise my hand signaling for him not to.

"I'm not finished. Another thing is that we need to come up with another code name for you since you've been gone for so long. I want a new name for yourself by the end of the week."

"That's only two days though."

"Am I hearing complaining?"

"No, ma'am."

"Good, off you go then. I expect to see you doing what you can to gain the teams trust back since they're more than a little skeptical about you."

Nodding in agreement he walks off to leave for the training station. Unfortunately, our station is in the same location as another gangs, The Vanoss Crew. We only agreed to share the property because otherwise, we would have gone into war with each other. It was in one of the best remote locations in the city and both Vanoss and I wanted it. 

We agreed to share till either the other was destroyed or they resigned, neither has happened so far. Fine by me though, I like having the competition. 

A half hour passes and I make my way over to the front of the training station... and just to my luck, I see the Vanoss crew is here as well

Walking in I see my crew on one side of the main area and Vanoss' on the other, both glaring at each other. A few with elemental powers begin to show them more and more till I walk in. Vanoss comes into view and walks over to where I am standing. Everyone stares at he and I and calms down.

(Both Vanoss and Y/N are speaking here. Vanoss, Shadow)

"I'm going to say this one time, to everyone. Including Vanoss' crew. I am very pleased to have both teams here today, both Vanoss and I decided on something that will work for missions we both need help on. We've agreed on a temporary truce an-"

Before I could finish some members on both sides started growling and glaring at each other. Vanoss clears his throat and silenced everyone beginning to speak.

"I'm well aware not many of you will agree with this, or even merely like this idea. Both Shadow and I will be watching to check up on the progress you will all be making. Each member will have to partner up with every person in this room by the end of the month. Once the month is over unless saying otherwise to all of you, the truce will be over and we will split up back into the gangs we originally were. Do I make myself clear?"
