This chapters going to be more focused on a level of trust between Shadow and Vanoss and how y/n (you) ends up telling everyone about all of her markings and why she has them. Enjoy!

Y/N Pov...

After creating the plans that we have with the 5 other ladies in the room with Vanoss and me, they left leaving only the two of us in the room. He and I looked at each other and we smiled and laughed, letting out the tension that was left from what the seven of us had discussed.

Getting up from the chair that I was in, I make my way over to the counter where we would keep personal alcohol stored and energy drinks as well, along with coffee of our choice.

"Wait, Shadow you just were healed and now you're having coffee with booze? That seems more than a little reckless."

"Honestly I'm fine Vanoss. Plus it helps me calm down if I'm ever overworked. These new plans are not much different, but they stress me the hell out so this helps. Mock me as you wish but I don't care." I say snapping my head back saying it with a snarky attitude. Hearing Vanoss snort and walking over to the counter next to me, he grabs a Monster and walks back to the couch.

"So Shadow, how exactly do you plan on executing this mission. As in once, the teams are ready, how are you going to strategize for what needs to happen in order to take them down?" Vanoss asks me while taking a sip of his drink.

"I told you and the girls, everything will be finalized once we know who fits best in what position to make sure of the best outcome and for the best possibility of success. I've spent years trying to find any sort of a lead to them and how I can get in and I finally found one. I need to have you work with me to make sure this works. That's why I wanted to have everyone pair up, to find the best fit in the crews for partners." I briefly explained as Vanoss readjusted himself.

"You know that this mission also has a high chance of failure right? Even if everything goes exactly to the plans there still is that very high-risk that something will go wrong."

"I know, it's why I needed your help in the first place. From how I remember it, there wouldn't be the slightest chance I could do it on my own or even with my crew. I needed to be able to get extra help in order to make it work, and your crew members have the skills that I need. It's why it's so crucial to enhance those skills so there are higher rates and chances of success."

"I'm just slightly worried that something will go wrong and someone will get hurt or worse, possibly die. Are you sure that this is the right approach to this mission? With 100% certainty?" Vanoss asks me while setting down his drink and looking over the documents I have laid out in front of me.

"Absolutely. I've calculated every single outcome and I'm prepared for both success and failure and what might happen between start and finish of the mission. It's extremely detailed, and it requires everyone, even us, to be at their absolute best when it comes time to start it."

Seeing the man in front of me nodding his head, I step back from the documents and walk over to mainly my side of the office.

"There's something I want to show you, and it's important that you know before anyone else is told about this. Not even Hawkeye or Missy knows about this, so be grateful that you are the first person to know what I'm about to show you."

As Vanoss walks over to the same side of the room that I'm on, I open a drawer and press a small button underneath the top of the drawer and watch as some of the wall tiles lift up slightly and move to reveal two hidden doors in the walls itself of the building. One is solid black with a gold knob on it, the other a dark purple with a black knob.
