It's getting colder and later by the minute but I don't care. I would stay out 48 hours straight with Luke if that's what he wanted. I have a pretty good idea where we're off to next, seeing as I've walked this road many a times.

As we walked through the gates of Central Park, Luke dropped my hand and ran off expecting me to run after him. I thought I was following him until I realised I was all alone in the middle of the park.

"ELENA LOOK AT ME" I heard a voice shout behind me. I pivoted around to see the lanky boy standing on the ledge of the stone bridge. He has a thing for heights.

"LUKE WHAT THE FUCK GET DOWN RIGHT NOW! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DIE I WILL KILL YOU, COME DOWN NOW."I roared up at him.

"Ok mom" he replied with a smirk, leaning forward and throwing himself down off the bridge.

"LUKE!!" I shrieked loudly enough for New Jersey to hear me. He stood up and shook himself off as I ran over to him freaking out. He grabbed my wrists in his hands to calm me down. Luke pressed his lips onto mine, and even though they were icy and blue, they were addicting enough to get hypothermia, but somehow provided me with some sort of warmth I've never felt before.

He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine and slowly opened his eyes to gaze into mine. He gave me a kiss on the forehead and his lips lingered there for a while until he intertwined our fingers and walked us underneath the bridge.

Silence still engulfed us as we found a large open area to lie down and look at the stars. I rested my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. I think I might've dozed off but quietly heard Luke singing in a soft voice before I did,

"I'm gonna light up this place and die in beautiful stars"
