Day 8 - "What am I to you?"

It sent me back to the first day, how silent you were when I sat by your side. Then the first time we heard your voice, to me it was like the angels singing. Then I remembered the first glance I've caught of you smiling, and that was the very first time I've seen the sun face to face. To everyone you were that quiet boy in the room that never liked anybody, the silent night full of clouds. You may be wrecked from the storm that had been in you, it may have sucked up all the stars you see. But if you'd ask me, you are the heavens and the earth. A blackhole where sunflowers still bloom, a garden of roses I'd walk through despite the thorns.
