Day 4 - He is home

When I find a house,

I will make sure it feels like home.

I will take plants as companion,

and books as portals on my mind.

I will open the curtains and welcome the sun's rays

through my windows.

I will get maybe a cat or two,

and paint my walls with the brightest hue.

When I find a home,

the doors will never be closed

and the grass will always be green.

When it rains I'll never feel sad,

and when it's dark the moon and the stars

will be my friends.

I will wake up to more stories and a smile,

a warm cup of coffee and tea for my love.

On sleepless nights I will hide

underneath the blankets

feeling the warmth that had kept me safe.

When I find a home,

it will have sun-kissed skin

and honey brown eyes.

My home will have a smile as bright as day

and cheeks as red as the roses we will

plant on our garden.

My home will echo sweet laughters

and offer good memories.

When I find a home,

it may soon grow old,

but will never fall apart.

For if I find a home,

it will be in your arms.
