"So you said who is going to be at this party again?", I asked Ammy as we got ready.

"It's more of a 'Get together', you will see some familiar faces", replied Ammy as she drove us to this mystery party she said would be fun.

The venue turned out to be a house...scratch that, a penthouse and I think we were the last people to arrived, because the party had already started.

So during the course of the party, I got to meet some people in our home town I thought I would never see again, most of them I had seen in my high school.

They talked about everything happening in their lives, from graduating college, to their love life and careers.

That aside, people were playing 'truth or dare', yeah I was surprised as well. I did not expect such games at this party, since it seemed too elite, but I joined in anyway, because why not.

We were seated around a bonfire...yes there was one in the backyard.

The owner must be earning some good money. I thought to myself, as a magged figure took up a seat opposite me, and it was no other than Cedrick.

During the course of the game, he kept looking as though he was looking for someone, until our eyes met.

I tried to avoid his glances, but I kept stealing glances at him as well. I did not know why I was doing it or why I felt something in my stomach when he intensely watched me.

After the game, I started looking around for Ammy until I heard a "You came" from a voice I could recognize anywhere. Cedrick's. So I turned to him.

"I thought you weren't going to come, given that the party is at my house" he continued.

Hearing that this is his house, made be uncomfortable. I shouldn't have come if I knew that we were coming to his party, especially not when Katherine is probably around here somewhere.

"I should not have come if I knew" I said trying to control whatever emotions that were happening within me right there.

I needed to get away from him. So I excused myself and went to the restroom.
