"Sam I am so..."

"I am going to need you to not say anything for now cousin." ced was about to say something but Mitchelle cut her off.

I liked it, I like how he shut up immediately. It seems there is finally someone who could shut him up.
I like her already.

"Sam, how have you been? How is the ankle now?" Mitchelle asked as I sat down on the couch opposite Ced but near Mitchelle.

"I am well, thanks for asking. The ankle is better now." I replied not giving a single glance to Ced. And I know he felt miserable for not being paid attention to, to being the least interesting person in the room. I was jumping for joy on the inside.

"That's great hun. Not to beat around the bush, the whole incident was all that little witch's doing, Katherine. She was there at the party, paid someone to who took that photo, sent it to Cedrick to take advantage of his temper, although get me right, I am not siding with how he chose to react. And the person who took the picture sold it to the press." explained Mitchelle.

"You don't have to believe me but you might be able to believe this." Mitchelle continued, pointing at Ammy who was holding a tablet.

The news showed Katherine apologising to the Quinns and the "mystery lady" who fell victim of her doing. I am shocked that she even admitted any of that.

"Do not be," replied Mitchelle.

"Oh I said that out loud? Sorry." I said.

"Don't be, again" Mitchelle said as we both giggled at her answer.
"We got help from Uncle Quinn, Ced's father, he threatened to pull his investments from Katherine's father's company if his daughter did not apologise and come clean on disrespecting the Quinns name like that. So she had no choice but to do it." Explained Mitchelle.

There was a weird silence before Ammy and Mitchelle excused themselves that Mitchelle was thirsty and Ammy escorted her to the kitchen.

............................................................................

"Sam you have all the right to be mad at me. I blame myself for this situation we are in. I should have trusted you and what you said, I shouldn't have left you there alone, the way I did, in that kind of pain and embarrassment. I should have protected and taken care of you.
My anger took the best of me and for that I am truly sorry." Ced said this literally sitting at the age of the couch.

But I was trying to look everywhere else but at him

"Please look at me. I understand if you need some time alone. But please don't give up on me, don't give up on us.
Please say something." Begged Ced.

I turned to look at the two girls who where done pretending the they were not listening and decided to look directly at us, at me to be precise.
They were all nodding their heads. I rolled my eyes. Unbelievable!

"I am glad you know its not even about that screwed up psycho of a person, Katherine but you." I said as they all laughed.

"God, I love you, can you say that Katherine part again." teased Mitchelle as she was still laughing.

"Katherine," Ced interrupted.

"Ok, ok I'll be quiet." Mitchelle replied.
"But wait, I wanted to ask you for a favour Sam... Can I call you Sam as well? Yeah? Yeah?" Mitchelle asked. I noded. "Can you do me the honour of being my Maid of Honour?" She said happily that I was caught by surprise

"Wow, Mitchelle...I, I do not know what to say" I stuttered.

"Say yes" she replied in a pitchy voice.

"Ok then, I will. " I replied.

Ced coughed reminding us that he is still around. We looked at him and laughed.

"Loosen up guys we have a wedding to plan, people." Ammy shouted.
