"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" A furious Ced came out of nowhere.
"I thought I was clear when I told you not to lay a finger on her, Aaron."
"And you miss innocent", he turned to me. "What are you doing in the arms of another man, you just couldn't help yourself, could you? I have been nothing but patient with you, but you just jumped to the highest bidder, was all this a game to you?" He spoke with so much coldness in his eyes."Look man, you are blowing things out of proportion. She is hurt, and you are not helping the situation. You are making a scene. It's me, Aaron your best friend, I wouldn't dare disrespect you like that." He explained.
I told Aaron to put me down, although he was insisting that I'll strain my ankle, but he put me down anyway.
Ced had started walking out, so I followed him, Aaron still trying to support me.
"Ced," I shouted. "Ced wait." I tried to hold his hand but he pushed me away and I fell on the concrete, I shouted out of pain, both in my ankle and in my heart, tears started to run down my cheeks.
He threw his phone at me without even turning, got into the car and left.
I turned the phone on, while still on the concrete. There was a picture of Aaron and I, at the bar when I almost fell, and he offered to carry me. But the picture's angle shows that Aaron and I were...kissing.
After Aaron saw this photo he threw the phone away.We need to get you to the hospital, Sam.
Tears couldn't stop running down my cheecks, I don't know what exactly I was crying over, I was exhausted but I had to talk to Ced.
Aaron took me to the hospital, I was put on drip overnight.............................................................................
The following day, Aaron came with his fiancé to the hospital. That's the secret he wanted to tell Ced, he had told me about it, at the bar last night, and asked me to keep it a secret until he told Ced.
"How are you feeling, Sam? This is Mitchelle, my fiancee and Cedrick's cousin, Mitchelle meet my high school friend, Samantha and the woman Ced is head over heels with." Aaron introduced us.
"I doubt the last part, it is far from the truth as of now," I scoffed.
"I am so sorry for what happened to you last night, Cedrick has a temper and when he learns something, whether true or false, it is hard for a person to change his mind, but I'll knock some sense into him when we meet him back at home." Mitchelle said.
"No, wait he is still in Berlin...right? He is in Berlin Aaron, right?" I asked and both of them looked at each other.
"Sam, Cedrick left last night after the fight, with his family's jet," Aaron murmured looking down.
I took a deep breath.
You've embarrassed yourself enough infront of these people, no tears for today, I told myself.
"Sa...Sam, I went to the hotel and got your bags, we are going to use Aaron's jet to go back home," murmured Mitchelle. As Aaron went to clear the bill.
"I can not say I understand how you feel, but you are not alone. You don't have to believe me, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart, okay?" asked Mitchelle.
I said a faint ok, but I don't even know how it came out.
Aaron came back with the doctor, she prescribed some medication I should take for the pain on the flight, and gave me clutches too, great! The flight was scary as usual, so I concentrated on the pain, physical, emotional, and psychological all at once, Aaron and Mitchelle had given me some space, I could hear them murmur but I couldn't tell what exactly they were talking about.
I had no appetite, I was just staring at space, although I was not thinking of anything. Just staring. On arrival, I think Aaron had contacted Amanda, my best friend. She was there waiting for me with Dilan.
Mitchelle helped me walk, until I caught up with Amanda, as Aaron gave my luggage to Dilan.
"Those aren't mine, give the whole suitcase back to HIM," I said loud enough for everyone to hear."We have met in a not so pretty situation, but I hope to see you soon, take care," Mitchelle said with a comforting warm smile.
"Thank you for everything, both of you," I said to Aaron and Mitchelle.
Dilan helped me into the back of the car, Amanda sat with me, stealing glances at me but in general the drive was silent.
