"Sam your phone is ringing," shouted Amanda. I was at her place, in the kitchen to be exact. After narrating to her the mini shock I had this morning, I was starving, it's only at her home that you find all the good stuff.

"Samantha Mitchell speaking, who am I talking to?" I answered the phone.

"Hey Miss Mitchell, it's Elenor, Mr Quinn's secretary, I wan..."

"...oh Elenor, I remember you, sorry I didn't save the company's phone number, I'm ashamed", I blubbered after cutting her off. I need to stop doing that.

"There's nothing to be ashamed of child, I called to inform you that you'll be meeting with Mr Quinn tomorrow at 14:00 o'clock on the dot. And no, not at the II, but you'll be picked up and taken to the destination, have a nice day Miss Mit..."

"...you can call me Sam, please," I did it again. Stop cutting people off dude.

"Ok Sam, have a nice evening"

"wai...t," she had hang up already.

I wonder where this so called destination is.

The following day, I had all the time in the world I even had breakfast with mum. Dilan had already gone for work.
He had made his own investment company and it was really a success.

With our parents' separation, Dilan had promised to do everything in his power for mum and me to have a comfortable environment, and it's only what he has concentrated on.

I don't think he has ever dated and if he did, it wasn't that serious. I really want him to have his own life too, that's why I'm also serious on my profession, so that Dilan can have a break, he could really use it. Who knows, he can open his eyes and notice Amanda.

Amanda has had the hugest and longest crush on my big bro ever since we were 10, I don't know what she sees in him, but hey, I really don't mind them pushing out. Come to think of it, they'd really make a perfect couple.

Time check, shit shit shit...it's almost 13:30, I need to get my designs before the driver comes.

After getting ready, my door bell rang. Checking my brown-strap leathered watch, it was just two minutes to 14:00 o'clock. So I sprinted downstairs knowing it's the driver.

"Good morning Miss, I am Connor, Mr Quinn's personal driver. He has sent me to, and I quote 'deliver you to him'."

DELIVER?, I thought to myself. Keeping my calm I entered the car cos I did not want to fume at the guy who was so kind to open the door for me.

Ofcourse I can do that myself but sometimes you have to let a gentleman be a gentleman.
I was lost in thoughts that I did not know how and when we had arrived, Connor just called me a little louder to bring me back to reality that we had arrived. But I think the ride was not long from my house.

Looking around, after getting out of the car, a well built, cosy homey like structure was infront of me, surrounded by trees and a breeze as if the house was near a water body. I see Cedrick busy talking to someone on phone, so I walk passed him, heading to the house.
I didn't know I was going to design someone's home.

I explored it's interior, touching and picturing how I'm going to transform it so that it looks...alive. I went upstairs, after appreciating the wood they used for the gigantic staircase.

I came across this room which looked over a lake...

"You like it?" I turned as if a ghost brushed over me, just to see Cedrick leaning on the double door frame of the room.

"Holy smokes, you scared me", trying to breathe normal again.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to", he replied coming towards where I was standing.

New apologetic Cedrick! That's new. As I turned to the balcony again, enjoying the breeze that came from the lake.

"Yeah, it's nice", answering his first question.
"The owner must have a keen taste, on what exactly they want, because the house has both modern and vintage features, but in my opinion, it's too big if they built it for family. Oh, and he must be pretty loaded to own it near a lake...", I said.
After noticing that he was staring at me. I said, "I think I should keep quite now".

"No no no please, continue, your opinion matters, especially if it's about our house." Cedrick explained though the last part caught me off guard.
