Going out of the restroom after the uncomfortable situation with Cedrick, I bumped into Katherine...

"You crazy bitch, I told you to stay away from him, he's mine, get that into your thick skull, pig. I told you four years ago and I'll tell you now, he does not like you." With that she pushed me out of the way.

On my way out of the house, trying to make it out of the place as soon as possible, I bumped into someone, Cedrick again.

Avoiding his gaze, I quickened my pase till I was out of the damn house. But I heard footsteps following me.

"Sam, what's wrong?" asked Cedrick catching upto me.

I did not answer, I just kept walking trying to look for my car. I had already texted Ammy that I was going home.

For a minute I thought he had turned back, until he spoke through his teeth, standing exactly behind me.

"Sam look at me." he ordered. I did not turn.

"Sam, I said look at me" he said again.

"Nothing, there's nothing wrong Cedrick, so can you please go?" I turned to him with anger but my eyes started to get blurry because of the tears.

"Don't give me that, if you are crying there has to be something. So please, Sam, talk to me." he said the last words with his eyes closed.

"Is it Katherine? I saw her talking to you a while ago. Did she say something to you?" He said all this as I just stood there trying not to break down infront of him.

He tried reaching for me but I took a step back. That pissed him off.

"Fuck", he shouted and kicked a random car tyre, the car's alarm went off. I was just hoping no one hears it but we were in the penthouse's drive way, where all the other guests' cars were parked.

"First you called me by my full name which you only did when you were mad at me, now you won't even let me touch you?" he asked with anger but also...disappointment? in his voice.
"You left." he continued while breathing heavily.
He usually did that to gain control over his anger...

God why do I still know this, I said to myself.

"You didn't tell me that you were leaving. You didn't even bother calling or texting, not even a single mail, for four years, FOUR YEARS, Sam.
Do you even know how I felt when you left, huh?
I bet you do not because that is what you do, leaving people behind. You are selfish, you know? You are selfish, self centered, and heartle..."

"STOP, stop right there." I cut him off, finally getting the urge to talk. How dare he call me these things when he is the one who left ME.

"You have no idea, what it took for me to do what I did", I continued.
"You think you got hurt? Well I hurt more. You think it was easy leaving my friends, family, my life here, because I wanted to?
Well I got news for you mister, it was hard Ced, very hard, I did not tell you because you were with her. You. Were. With. Her...

"Her? WHO IS 'HER'?" He cut me off. "What are you talking about, Sam?"

How is he so good at this, pretending not to know anything?

"Just, leave okay, you're too good at acting you deserve an Oscar." I said while giving him a sarcastic applause.

"Stop it Sam." he said reaching for me again.

This time he was successful, I tried to move out of his hold but he was too strong for me. Tried to throw punches at him, but all in vain.

I was tired. Tired of his drama, pretence, making me look a complete fool.
Tears started running down my cheeks, sobs escaped my mouth, so I let go of what I had kept in for years.

With all our shouting, everyone had come out of the house, I could've felt embarrassed people looking at us, but I did not care anymore.

Ced pulled me even closer to him, while I kept on crying in his chest.

"Was it Katherine?" he asked. All I did was nod.
