Hastening after the group, I try to take in the surroundings energy wise. There's an alike column to the one on floor one stretching into the sky, and auras sprinkle the desert Klein had described, in both the shape of bulls and cows. I regard a few are winged, because of the quick beating of two wings on their abdomen. Turning back to the path, I crash into someone from our group who had come to a dead stop. Peeling myself from their back, I step away to see Klein's figure gazing up at the sky. I follow his eyes, and I sense my blood run frozen. An achingly-familiar form swoops down in front of us, and an eerily familiar cry fills the air.

"H-how? We just killed that thing!" I hear Klein yell, still looking at the monster dropping really adjacent to on top of us.

That thing's really close. Is it.....wanting to squash us?

"Run!" I yelp, dragging Klein by the arm, and I hear his group clambering behind us. Hurt springs up the arm clasping around Klein's, but I overlook it, flinching a little. Klein soon recovers his presence and starts sprinting beside me. and I'm able to drop my arm, and it droops loosely next to me. "What is he doing up here? He should be two things above all: On floor one and dead!"I exclaim, panting as I hop over a winged shape.

"I don't know! I don't think he'll drop steak, either!" Klein shouts. I stop myself from slapping him and sustain my pace by racing ahead. Soon, the roaring dissolves and I find myself next to Klein, clutching my chest, and wheezing like a sick dog. Finally developing my breath, I turn to Klein.

"How could you think he would drop steak? He's not even a cow! And most importantly, what in the world do you think he's doing here?" I steam, my good arm over my chest.

"W-well, it could be a glitch, I mean, all death games have those, right?" Klein mutters, his hand removing from the tree he was inclining on, and he shifts to the boss stomping off in the other direction. I nod, calming myself down, and turn to the group.

"Is everyone okay? No injuries?" I call over the murmurs bursting out.

"No. Well, at least from running. All our injuries are from the boss fight. Is your arm okay, Skylar?" One of the men queries confidently, hoisting a hand to indicate to my arm. I scuffle in front of it, making it swing behind me.

"Uh, yeah, it's fine." I assert, waving my good hand in front of me to prove the significance.

"Um, no, it's not. It's out of the socket." Klein jumps in from behind, and I twirl on my heels, my arm slinging itself around like dead weight, discomfort creeping up my shoulder.

"It's fine," I mutter, grasping my shoulder to stop my hand from wiggling around like jello.

"No, you need it back in place. It's your dominant arm, which means you use it to sword fight." Klein steps towards me, his voice tender. I start a war with me and myself, and eventually, I win (good job, me) and let my arm flop into his hand.

"Okay."

"Alright. Go ahead and sit against the rock there---I mean, to your left, and I'll put your arm into place." He directs almost incompetently, leaning me against a hard surface. Then, he crouches next to me, taking my arm in both hands. "This might hurt. Ready?" I nod positively, and I feel my shoulder and arm connect, agony shooting through the joints. I cry out softly but deaden it with my teeth. Soon, I feel the discomfort wane, and I open my squeezed eyes to see the heat signatures of the group gathered around, hushes verbalizing themselves from all around. "There. Feel better?"

"Much. Thanks, Klein. Where'd you learn to do that?" I hum, completing miniature cycles with my shoulder, grinning when I feel no strain.

"My dad taught me that since when I was little, I would dislocate my limbs almost every week." He chuckles, helping me up. After that episode, we succeed in traveling to the first settlement without bumping into any big monsters or the floor one boss roaming around. We rent some rooms for us to stay in, and then we decide to split up to level. Before I can wander away, I feel a hand on my arm that hadn't been out of the socket. "Hey. Can I come along? You know, just in case of a lot of reasons." Klein starts and I nod.
