We continue through the narrowing canyons, wandering with only the guide of a map Klein had bought in the last town since the maps in all the player's inventories a while ago, me glancing in every direction I can manage. I make sure to keep a watchful eye behind us, and especially to our sides where anyone could run up onto the canyon walls and sneak-attack us. Sighing at my paranoids, I rest my left hand on my rapier, seeking comfort form the cutlass.  Examining the walls, I jump when I bump into Klein, who stops suddenly in front of me. Peeling myself from his back, I rub my cheek which had collided with the hard plate serving as his armor.

"We should probably rest up here. It's quiet and there's no one out there for miles, so we should be fine." Klein reasons, turning around with a grin. I sigh in frustration at his terrible logic, finding a rock to perch on. One of the party members hands out some provisions since our biscuits ran out a while ago, giving us each some water. I flip the cork out of the bottle, swigging down the weird liquid. Suddenly, the member that handed out the water starts bellowing psychotically, making maniacal laughter ring throughout the canyons. I'm about to ask what he thinks is so funny when a small lightning bolt appears next to my health bar, and I watch as I slump against the stone wall, unable to move my body.

"W-What's...going on?" I grunt, trying to twitch my fingers to no avail.

"Hah! You seriously took the bait! I can't believe it! You're such idiots! I played hints like bombs! And Klein's sentence of 'there's no one out here for miles' almost gave it away!" He snickers, strolling up to me, and slipping off his heavy glove, revealing a thin, fingerless glove with a Laughing Coffin emblem on it. My eyes widen in disbelief, and I hear gasps and scowls rising to create a chorus among the group.

"How d-dare you! You...you absolute..." I trail, squeezing my eyes shut, stopping myself from cursing. "You complete jerk." He only smirks, glancing to Klein who is lying on the ground next to him, then runs his fingers along my cheeks, holding my chin with lust burning in his eyes.

"You're so cute when you're mad." He pauses, me hissing at him when his hand starts hovering below my neck. He stops, chuckling, then rubs my bottom lip. Narrowing my eyes, I take the chance and when his finger gets close enough, I bite down as hard as possible. He flinches back, but soon growls, turning to Klein who's smiling defiantly and proudly. Calming himself, the man smiles again, turning to me again. "You know, the minute I laid eyes on you, I've had dreams and fantasies of us, and now, the only thing standing between me and making those fantasies a reality is Klein. So, the easiest thing to do is to kill him." The man shrugs, drawing his sword, flinging it around, he then swaggers over to Klein, who glowers up at him. He then positions his blade at Klein's back, sending ripples of panic through me.

"No! D-don't you dare hurt him!" I yell, trying to wiggle towards him. He smirks over his shoulder but then drives his sword through Klein's chest, Klein crying out in pain, his health dipping to a little above yellow. "Do what you want to me! Just please, leave Klein alone!" This grabs his attention, and he glances over at me, then plucks his sword from Klein, and steps over to me, staring for a moment, then steps towards me to where his head is in the crook of my neck and his mouth is to my ear.

"I was hoping you would say that." He breathes, his hands trailing to my chest, caressing my shirt. I let out tiny noises of disapproval, trying to keep my sanity under control.

"S-Skylar! N-no!" Klein shouts, twitching his hand on the ground, disordering some grass growing under his hand. "Don't let him! Fight back! If you put your grimy hands on her, I swear!" he shouts as the man's other hand then travels to the area where no one should be touched, making rage build up inside of me. After agonizingly slow moments, I'm able to move again, and my broadsword flies out of its scabbard, hewing the man's head right off his shoulders. He dissolves, looking very agitated, and I stay there panting. Then I drop on my side, craving sleep immensely. I close my eyes, allowing my broadsword to place itself in my inventory, and then forcing my eyes open to relieve the group of their paralysis. "Skylar! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Klein exclaims as he stands, questions barraging my function of hearing. I shake my head, gaping.
