I eventually get a good person, who's small with purple armor and a cool looking sword strapped to her back.

"Hello?" I tap her on the shoulder, and she turns around with a wide smile.

"Hi! My name's Yukki!" She exclaims, holding out a hand. This makes me beam, and I shake her hand.

"Finally, someone who won't ignore me! I'm Skylar, and it's very nice to meet you, Yukki!" I breathe out in relief.

"I can understand that! So, what d'ya need?" She cheers.

"I was wondering if there was a better way of flying but without the remote." I smile, hoping she'd show me.

"Actually, there is! It's much easier. Do you want me to show ya?" Her statement brings resounding joy through me at not being ignored and someone being nice to me.

"Yes, please!" I smile, and Yukki jumps up from where she was sitting, taking me by the hand to the entrance of the cave. I follow happily, and she turns around, smiling.

"Okay. Stand in front of me real quick." I do as I'm told, shuffling in front of Yukki. "Okay, so, do you feel where my hand is?" She presses her hand on my back, and I nod. "Good. Now, pretend that you have muscles and bones in your wings." I notice my wings had appeared when she put her hand there, so I focus intensely. I hear a rapid flapping from behind me, and Yukki smiles. "Great! You're a fast learner! Now, keep doing that, and once I think you look ready, I'm going to push you off the cliff." She says nonchalantly, and I process what she says, still fluttering my wings.

"Wait, wha--Ah!" I shout as she shoves me off the cliff, but instead of falling, I float in the air, and when I look back, my wings are out and shining. I rotate a moment, facing Yukki, who's smiling up at me.

"You're good!" She calls, flying up to me. " Let's work on moving around, now. To move, you lean in the direction you want to move in, and then your wings take you there. Try it!" I lean left, and I float left. When I lean back, I go back. "Jump to move up, and drop your weight to descend!" Yukki calls to me again, and I try jumping. I go shooting up into the air, and when I drop my weight, I hover downwards, back to where Yukki is smiling at me. "You're awesome! You've got it down! To go faster, you bunch up when you're flying in a certain direction, and then release the tension in your legs to blast off! And then to go slower, you lean back. And that's really all that flying is!"

"Wow! Thank you, Yukki! If you don't mind, can I ask you a few more questions about this game? You look like a pro." I beam, and she nods.

"Of course! Here, lets land and go to a cafe! Their pie is really good here!" She drags me by my hand, and soon we're sitting at a table, sipping some tea and eating some pumpkin pie.

"You're right! This pie is awesome!" I exclaim, biting into the tip of the pie.

"I know, right? So, what were your questions?" Yukki brings up, and I put the fork down, wiping my mouth with the napkin.

"So, there are different races. Are we all friends?"

"No. The nine races are competing to get to the top of the World Tree, which is in the center of this world. They say that if you get past a bunch of guardians, then your race gets turned into Alfs or the ultimate race. That's why the tensions are so tight between them."

"Okay. So then, are you able to be friends with the other races?"

"Yeah, you can. There are a bunch of all the different races at the bottom of the World Tree."

"Alright. Then my last one is do you know how close the territories are? I mean, all nine of them? Like, are they generally the same distance from each other?"
