12- powerful people

In the morning, the whole crew was really hung over, well except for you and Benn. The two of you were, unfortunately, tending to your suffering crew members. Currently you had just finished checking up on the few you had, had trouble getting them to sleep. It was kinda funny to you how these grown men could act so much like children. You were sitting on the ledge of the ship, your feet dangling over the endless blue ocean.

You nearly fell in as you looked over and saw a flame appear beside, you looked towards the source as all you got was a small chuckle from Benn. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya." he spoke, as he lit his cigarette, you fixed your composer and looked back out at the sea. "you didn't."

He laughed, "yeah, yeah." he said then took a drag, taking it out and leaned against the railing. "I wasn't sure if I'd ever get 'em to shut up." he spoke breaking the unknown silence that had crept between you two. Sure, it was kind of strange, just you two but only because you spent most of your time with shanks. True, Benn was always with Shanks but you rarely ever thought to speak with him.

Once again the two of you fell into long and uncomfortable silence, you were lost in your thoughts, staring out at the deep blue sea and light blue sky. However Benn was the rather uncomfortable one, once he had finished his cigarette taking one last drag before discarding it into the ocean, with 'glop'.

The only thing heard between you two was your breathing and the waves hitting against the ship's wooden exterior, you enjoyed the short, sweet moment of silence... However all good things must come to an end, the blissful moment faded as you snapped back hearing a distressed groan from one of your crew mates. Benn stood up straight with a sigh and some inaudible mumbles, "I got it." he said, walking into the barrack.

You sat on the rails quietly, as you resumed to be completely entranced  by the big, blue waves that not only beat against the ship but carried a beautiful song of sloshing water, accompanied by the vocals of the seagulls that lined the light blue and dotted white skies. It was breath taking watching and listening to the sweet music, you hadn't noticed the long amount of time had passed, until your accompanied with a slamming door behind you. You  turned your head expecting to  see a tired Benn but you locked eyes with something that made your heart both race and drop at the same time, you paled at the sight before you. 

A woman.

It's not that she wasn't a part of your crew that scared you, it wasn't the fact of how she got on the ship or even in the barrack. no. It was that you had seen her before, you would've had no reason to be scared of a random chick that just appeared on the red-haired pirate's ship, you remembered not only hearing about her but seeing her before you were captured in sabaody archipelago.  She was not only a really strong paramecia devil fruit user but her haki alone could end the world,  she didn't have a known name. No one knew anything about the strange woman the only thing anyone was certain of was, you did not wanna mess with her. It was said she ate the wapu wapu no mi, the warp warp fruit. She was a vicious bounty hunter and right now, you were staring her dead in her cold, deep lavender eyes, "I thought dealing with you people would be more of a challenge." she spoke proudly, with an evil smile that you swore could be laced with poison. "I guess the big dog isn't here, then?"

You gave her a threatening glare, "what did you do?!" you demanded, to which she just laughed, Big mistake. you changed into your half beast mode of your devil fruit, sprouting the furry ears, tail and sharp canines, you snarled, showing your teeth as you hoped down of the railing. "Awe~ cute lil foxy~ " she teased, "you really think some little harmless zoan devil fruit scares me?" she asked with a proud laugh. she crossed her arms as her eyes started to glow, a gold ring with what seemed to be a galaxy full of  stars appeared between the two of you, what you were unaware of was one had popped up behind you as well. you looked around the ring seeing she was gone, you felt a warm breath on your neck, "You not one of the finest unless you've got some tricks up your sleeve, isn't that right lil Vixen~?"

you went full form as you shrunk becoming more agile, you spun around seeing her tall black leather boots... Then you got a 'close up' of the boots, a really painful 'close up'. you went flying as she pulled her foot back on the ground, you hit the wall with a 'Thud' as you slid down, your small body went numb. you felt weak, you tried to get up and on your feet as she walked over to you taking something out of her bag, you turned back into your human form.

As she got closer, you could see what she had a sea prism stone collar. You tried again to stand up, failing once more only to collide with the ground, your vision blurred and your eye lids became hard to keep open. The more you blinked the closer she got, steadily closing the gap between the two of you.

You closed your eyes in fear, when you feel sharp nails digging into the skin around your neck. The pricing pain, making you wince, as she delivers a finishing blow, knocking you out. As the dark, black abyss took grasp of you, refusing to let go, the sea stone prism cuff was locked around your neck.

While in your unconscious state, you were taken by your collar, which cancelled out your powers and made you more susceptible to pain and or injury. While the bounty hunter had you by your collar she opened another portal and carelessly threw you through it, you fell through a dark pit of stars then gold and you slammed into the floor of some where else.

There a dreadfully familiar face, was standing with a bubble on his head and a wicked smile. Grinning evilly from ear to ear, as the bounty hunter jumped through the same portal, "I said unscathed." he said earning the girl's attention as she looked at him, then back at your bleeding face, from where she had kicked you. "Okay... So I had ... Some complications."

"Well, those complications could have effected your pay." he said, snobbishly expecting to be worshiped. "Alright, sorry." she waved her hand brushing it away. "Y-You scum!" he yelled, "you are out of line, you ignorant commoners think that your so high and mighty. Your nothing! Your of no worth!"

Her purple eyes became engulfed with rage, but she shrugged her anger off. She needed this paycheck, celestial dragons pay well. She handed your lifeless body back to your former master as he took you and handed her a stack of Berri, she excitedly snatched the money. Until she realized that, it wasn't her promised price, she looked back up at the man, only now he had a pistol pointed at her head.

"You should've thought twice before damaging my cargo." he loaded it, with a 'click', she froze. We that moment the power from her devil fruit was lost in her fears, how to move and even speak nothing could come to her as she stared at the gun, in the world noble's cocky hands.

"L-L-Look the girls y-yours. Please you don't need to do this, man. I-I"

Boom.

A sharp pain followed by a warm stinging sensation came over her right shoulder. She fell to her knees her purple eyes opened wide as her hands found their way to the wound. Blood gushed out, the celestial Dragon cleared his throat and looked away disgusted at the sight. Her eyes made their way to the wound next as she was about to get up and pounce on the noble a cold metal was wrapped around her neck causing her to suddenly feel weak.

She looked down to see a sea stone prism collar with a long chain, the celestial Dragon's underling held the chain tightly. "Show her to her chamber."

With that she was taken to the underground slave house, and was chained to the wall. You were still unconscious and your leash laid in your master's hands, he smiled devilishly once more as he was overcome with pride, he felt as if he had finally won.

He felt like he had beaten one of the most powerful people on the seas.

He felt as if he had beaten Shanks.

Boy, did he have something coming.
