20- Forever and always!!

Took me forever to find the picture... but I love it!!!

You stirred awake, you looked around and started to panic feeling a tight presnece keeping you held down. Until you turned over and saw a head if bushy red hair, his arm tightly tucked you into him. The sight made you smile, until you realized what you had planned for the day, it was a very important day!

It was your wedding day!

Ever since you were a young girl, you dreamed of finding true love and getting married, having a big beautiful dress and feeling like a true princess. Today was it, you might not be having a 'royal' wedding like you had always seen, between the nobles on television growing up, but you did however find your true love.

The wedding was a small gathering, wanted criminals won't really be able to have big, noticeable celebrations. Nonetheless, your childhood dreams were about to come true, your heart sped up. Shakky, the Ravenette from the pub you and shanks had found your father at was helping you get dressed and all "done-up" in her words.

You had to make do, your dress was a long, slender fit, white dress with a sharp V-neck. Shakky said it was an old one of her's. It had a couple holes near the feet but, it looked rather cute, in a rough kinda way.

She was putting your hair up, it was in a high ponytail which was pinned up and back. ((Sorry if you have short hair like I do but this style has always looked really pretty to me.))

Shakky looked at you from a far, in awe at her handy work. When a knock at the door was heard, Shakky went to look who it was, making sure it wasn't shanks mostly because if the traditional wives take of it being 'bad luck' to see the wife's dress before the ceremony. However it wasn't shanks... it was rayleigh, your father, "wow." He stopped looking at you, he too stood before you in complete awe. You smiled, but it soon faded, "Wh-Why are you here...?"

Rayleigh's eyes landed on the floor, he felt the guilt rebuild in his gut, "I... I came to say I'm sorry..." he breathed out. "I can't have you get married and move on in life without, at least trying to set things right."

Your heart broke with those words, "D-Dad..." you grabbed your arm and bit your lip, averting your eyes.

"I'm sorry, (y/n)..." he said walking over to you, "for everything, for abandoning you and your mother, for leaving all those times to be a pirate, for not knowing about... what had happened to your mother and Wh-when y-you..." he wrapped his arms around you, you did the same, he couldn't bare to finish his sentence. Your hearts were in pieces at the moment, Shakky's was from just watching the scene play out.

You tried to blink away your tears, not wanting Shakky to have to redo your whole face of makeup. While your father cried in your shoulder, Shakky watched and cried from the sideline, it was such a sweet and heart warming scene to behold.

In another room on the ship, Benn was trying to convince shanks to put on a suit. "...NO." Shanks growled, Roo and yassop were holding him down while, Benn walked over to him with the suit. "LET ME GO!" He yelled a strong burst of his haki broke out, knocking the other men down. He got up and took the suit away from Benn, "Shanks... your getting married you gotta wear a suit." Benn groaned as he got up holding his head.

The other to men being knocked unconscious from hitting their heads. Shanks looked at the suit, with an uncomfortable expression. "It would make (y/n) really happy~" Benn sing-songed, trying to convince his captain to wear the suit.

Shanks sighed, "fine..." gave in to the thought of you, "but you three have to leave." He retorted. Benn and shanks dragged the other two out of shanks' room, Shanks put on the suit. It had a Navy blue coat, with a white undershirt under a black and gray blazer. The trousers were a matching navy blue to the coat.
