everyone gazes as she halts, and I dismount. "Help me down, Styles," she chuckles, swinging her leg over as I catch her waist to set her down gently. Her light frame slightly stumbles into me, prompting laughter from us both.

"Haz, I can't believe you rode that beast." Louis lets out a scream as he walks over, admiring Buttercup.

"It was brilliant, a proper good time." I run my fingers through her mane, speaking softly. Following Maddie and Buttercup into the stables, I assist in removing the saddle. "Is she your only horse?" I inquire, receiving a smile in return as we make our way from the stables to the house.

"No, we have six more but she's the only Clydesdale." Tristan strides over, drawing Maddie to his side and murmuring in her ear. "No way, when?" he gestures as vehicles roll up. Maddie leaps up, squealing with delight, and dashes towards them. Two guys emerge, one sporting shoulder-length brown hair, the other with a shorter cut. They rush over, lift Maddie into the air, twirling her around as she squeals in excitement.

"Who's that mate?" I ask Tristan, he laughs.

"Friends." They walk over to us, and Maddie comes over stopping right in front of me.

"Guys this is Tyler." He is the one with the long brown hair. "And this is Brian." We shake their hands and they eye us for a second.

"Maddie, how the hell do you know One Direction?" Tyler asks her. She scrunches her face looking at him making us laugh.

"No Tyler, how the hell do you know One Direction?" and laughter erupts.

"Who doesn't."

"I honestly didn't know them until today. Their car broke down, so we offered to let them stay here," she says with a shy smile.

"You've always been a sweetheart," Brian remarks as he comes up behind her, wraps his arms around her waist, and kisses her cheek. She places her hands over his, smiling.

"What are you guys doing here?" Josh runs up asking.

"Well, we saw Jill in town, and she mentioned Little Grey is having a party—you know we can't miss that," Brian says, flirting unabashedly, and I feel a twinge of jealousy. She glances up at me and smiles, extricating herself from his grasp and approaching me, leaving me surprised.

"Well, Little Grey here needs to head into town to pick up a few items. Harry, care to join me?" My eyes widen and the guys snicker among themselves. Wankers.

"Sure, I'll come along." She loops her arm through mine, just as she had with Tristan earlier. She guides me to a large truck, prompting a chuckle from me. "You can drive this?" She glances at me with a bemused expression.

"I can drive anything that runs," she declares, giggling. Once inside, I'm struck by the sheer size of everything—it's all supersized; you could fit all the guys and then some in here. As we head out, it hits me—I've left my wallet and phone behind. I tell her, dash back to grab them, and jump back in. "You know, you didn't really need your wallet unless you're planning to drive," she says, arching an eyebrow at me.

"You would let me drive?" She giggles, halting at the driveway's end, at the road. Unbuckling her seatbelt, she clambers over me, and I slide into the driver's seat. "I can't believe you're actually letting me."

"Down here, the girl always rides shotgun," I give her a smile and a wink, making her blush. To my surprise, she doesn't take the passenger seat but instead snuggles up next to me in the middle. It's going to require all my self-control. As we start off and I shift gears, my fingers graze her legs. She rests her head on my shoulder, and I must admit, it feels nice. Once done shifting, I rest my hand on her bare thigh, and we continue in silence. Occasionally, I steal glances at her, and when our eyes meet, she blushes and turns away. This continues until we reach town, and she directs me. At a red light, the sudden blare of horns startles me. Maddie laughs, peering behind us, and before I know it, she's leaning over me, hanging out the window. I place my hand on her back, amidst the screams from the other car.

"Little Grey, what on earth are you doing? Who's driving? Is that Tristan?" She laughs, causing me to blush and bury my head in her side, prompting her to glance back at me. Gently, she lifts my face to meet hers.

"Don't hide; you're okay here, I promise." The reassurance in her voice helps me unwind, and I raise my head. She calls out to them, "No, it's my friend H." I sit up, wave with a smile, and Maddie's giggle follows. The girls look over and return the smile.

"He's hot!" I burst out laughing.

"Watch it, Brit. He's off limits," she says, glancing back at me. I'm left wondering what she means by that. Is it because she likes me, or is it because of who I am that I'm off limits? I really want to know.

"Ok, calm your tits, so any other hot guys going to your party?" The light shifts as she speaks. Maddie glances at me and gives a wink.

"Umm, there are a few over there, 3 hot guys, and I'm pretty sure they're up for some fun," she giggles, and I know she means Louis, Liam, and Niall. We begin to inch forward as horns blare around us and one of the girls screams.

"What about him? Can I have him?" I can't help but laugh. Not a chance, girls.

"Nope, he's all mine," Maddie exclaims, causing me to blush. She pulls herself back over me, sits, and directs me where to go. This silence is unbearable. "I hope I didn't upset you by what I said. I told her that because I know if I didn't, you'd be tied up in the barn later and I'm sure that you wouldn't want that. From what I have heard it's like sticking your dick in a coffee can." I burst into laughter; the things that come out of her mouth seems to blow my mind.

"Well, I suppose I should thank you then. That doesn't sound pleasant at all." We arrive at a liquor store and enter. She begins to fill a cart—I was unaware that liquor stores provided carts. However, she explains that they refer to them as 'buggies' locally. By the time we finish, she has ordered six kegs, numerous cases of beer, countless bottles of various liquors, and all the accompaniments. "Do you think that's enough, love?" She glances over and it's clear she's trying not to laugh.

"No, this will never suffice; you're in the country now, and we know how to throw a party. By morning, there will be bodies strewn all over. But you better ensure your body is right next to mine!" She giggles, and I turn a bright red.

"Are you flirting with me, Grey?" She turns, winks, and then heads to the counter. After they tally everything, the total exceeds $400.00. I gasp and look around. What on earth did she buy that cost so much?

"Looks like I'm missing one hell of a party." The man scans Maddie from head to toe. "I would love to come and check it out. Especially if your fine ass is going to be there." She glances downward, and I step closer. As she struggles to retrieve her debit card, I smoothly pull out mine from my pocket.

"Here, let me get that, babe." I hand him the card and draw her into my embrace, which she accepts without hesitation. I gently rub her back as he processes my card. He gives us a glare, and I meet it squarely; she's with me. After returning my card, I sign off on the purchase.

"The six kegs and the rest will be delivered by 7. Maybe I'll see you then," he says, casting a glance at Maddie that makes her shiver. I hold his gaze firmly until he looks away, and Maddie seeks comfort in my gaze.

"Let's go, H," she urges, nudging me backward. We seize the carts and head to the truck. "That guy was creepy," she mutters, a shudder passing through her. "Thanks for, you know," she says with a grateful smile as we load our items. Once inside the truck, she instructs me to stop by the bank. As she dashes inside, I'm left to my thoughts. Damn, I nearly confronted that guy. She's influencing me in odd ways. It's too soon to have feelings, right? Perhaps it's just attraction—she is stunning. Observing her as she leaves the bank, I'm captivated. The way she tucks a lock of hair behind her ear, the movement of her lips as she speaks, the furrow that forms when she frowns—every gesture is enchanting. She glances over, pointing, her smile beaming as she returns. Stay cool, Styles. It's going to be a long night.
