"Aren't you excited (y/n)? We finally get to leave this village." Naruto excitedly yelled out, his bright blue eyes looking at his friend.

(Y/n) just rolled her dark eyes, smiling softly at the rather excited blond. Liking the way he got excited over anything whether it be small or big.

(Y/n) soon tuned out the blond's loud words, eyes scanning around for her previous sensei. Hoping to catch any sort of glimpse of him.

"He said he would be here." (Y/n) worriedly thought but didn't show any emotion on her face. Something that she has been doing lately.

(Y/n) turned her attention back on Naruto, at the feeling of him placing a hand on her shoulder. Looking at the boy who was giving her a reassuring smile, that was working for her.

"Kakashi-sensei said he was coming so believe he'll be here." Naruto encouragingly said to his friend. Hoping that it would ease her worries.

(Y/n) just nodded her head in response as she watched civilians pass by the gates. Still looking for the man.

"There you two are." A boisterous voice called out. The two children looking at the source of the voice.

"There you are pervy-sage!" Naruto yelled out as he pointed an accusing finger at the older man.

The young girl just snickered at the hurt expression that flashed on the older man's face. At the disrespect that was shown to him by the blond.

Jiraiya just let out a laugh before ruffling both his new students hair. Greatly enjoying the way they both had smacked his hands away, as they fixed their hair before glaring at him.

"You both ready to leave?" Jiraiya asked the kids as he looked at them.

(Y/n) couldn't help but worry at the thought of leaving without saying by to Kashi-nii. And it wasn't something she was planning to do.

Naruto knew the girl to well and knew she wanted to wait for Kakashi-sensei.

"No, we are waiting for Kakashi-sensei." The blond informed his new sensei, who just nodded his head.

"Okay, but if he doesn't show within twenty minutes. We are leaving regardless." Jiraiya sternly told his students, who nodded their heads.

Jiraiya had a feeling that it wasn't really Naruto that wanted to wait for Kakashi but rather (y/n).

He couldn't help but let out a small grin at the thought of Naruto wanting to please the young Uchiha. It was cute the boy was doing this for the girl.

It was rather obvious to any adult that the two kids had crushes on each other. And it made him wonder if they would both act upon it soon.

"Hopefully they tell each other rather than them waiting forever." Jiraiya mused, silently staring at the two kids.

"There he is!" Naruto screamed, as he rudely pointed at the relaxed ninja.

(Y/n) instantly perked up at the sight of her sensei, immediately walking over towards him.

"Let's give them some alone time Naruto." Jiraiya softly told the blond boy, who nodded his head in agreement. As the two walked away giving the other pair some space.

"I thought you wouldn't come." (Y/n) mumbled out as she glared at Kakashi.

Kakashi just let out a small chuckle, scratching the back of his neck at the fierce glare he was receiving.

"I told you I would come before you left." Kakashi told the young Uchiha.

(Y/n) softened her glare the slightest before giving a small blush as she went and hugged Kakashi.

Kakashi wasted no time and hugged the girl that he saw as a daughter. Enjoying the way she tightened her grip on him as if her life depended on him and only him.

He let out a small laugh as they pulled away once he saw the blush on the usual stoic face of the girl.

(Y/n) just let out an annoyed but embarrassed huff, avoiding his gaze. Kakashi ruffled her once more before looking at the two returning males.

"Are you ready now?" Jiraiya questioned the young girl, who gave him a quick nod in response.

The two adults smiling at how Naruto just cheered and ran to (y/n).

"Take care of yourself." Kakashi bent down and whispered into the girl's ear. Giving her one last hug before pulling away from her.

"I will Kashi-nii." (Y/n) promised softly before waving bye at him.

The trio turning away from Kakashi, continuing on with their new journey.

All while Kakashi stared sadly at them but with a small smile on his face. Before heading back into the village that he's so familiar with.

"Take care (y/n)."
