A barley noticeable smile was on the the young Uchiha girl's face as she awaited for her boyfriend to come back from his mission.

Everything was in place with the world now. No more war and fighting, along with deaths.

(Y/n)'s smile faltered when she she saw Naruto laughing with Hinata. Instead of walking up to him like she usually does when her returns, she decided to stay and wait in her spot.

But waiting was a bad choice of action, as (y/n) watched her blond boyfriend continuing walking with the Hyuga. Not noticing that she was waiting there patiently.

(Y/n) stared wide eyed for a while longer until she swallowed down the lump in her throat. As she slowly walked back to her home.

"He didn't even bother to look around for me." (Y/n) sadly thought, as she looked at the ground beneath her.

"Hey (y/n), why aren't you with Naruto?" Sakura cheered before questioning the female, as she soon approached the Uchiha.

(Y/n) snapped out of her thoughts, quickly putting on a calm expression to hide her true feelings.

"He's with Hinata." Was the monotonous reply as (y/n) stopped walking to stare at the pink haired female who look surprised.

"Oh, he's been awfully close to her these past weeks." Sakura slightly questioned to herself, as she thought about her friend with the Hyuga.

Those words that were spoken only caused (y/n)'s chest tighten, as she thought about her boyfriend with the other female. The words were true.

"Yes, I think they're becoming good friends." Was the lie that she spoke out. As (y/n) walked past the worried pink haired female.

"He wouldn't leave me for her right? I mean they're just friends?" Thoughts filled with doubt echoed in her mind.

As (y/n) paced quickened to reach her safe haven, her home. Arriving to her little apartment, she hastily opened the door before slamming it shut.

As she stood with her back facing the door before slowly sliding down it. Softly hitting the ground in a sitting position.

"I shouldn't doubt my relationship." (Y/n) scolded herself in her head, before remembering a painful thought. Hinata had confessed her love for Naruto awhile back.

Doubts now screaming in her mind as she thought more about the two. Heart pounding rapidly as she processed the millions of thoughts.

A knock to the door snapped her out of her horrid thoughts, as well as scaring her in the process.

(Y/n) got up as she straightened out her outfit along with her hair before opening the door. Dark eyes widening at the blond male smiling outside her door. She stared at him silently as she waited for him to talk first.

"I missed you (y/n)." Naruto shyly said, as he pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind his back. Holding them out with a very bright blush on his handsome face.

Doubts vanishing from (y/n), as she smiled widely before taking the flowers from his hand and throwing them on the floor.

"Wha~" Naruto questioned, before he was cut off with a giant hug. He eagerly returned the gesture as he felt his girlfriend hug him harder.

"I missed you." (Y/n) whispered in his ear, as she laid her head on his shoulder. Gently closing her eyes as she waited for his response.

Naruto smiled softly as she held onto the girl before responding, "I missed you too (y/n) always."

Her heart soared at the confession as her smile widen. Joy pulsing through her veins. As they both enjoyed the silence that surrounded them. Before Naruto pulled away from the hug.

"Hey, I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be hanging out with the guys tonight." Naruto rapidly said, as he rocked back on his feet.

(Y/n) let no emotion show as she deciphered his rapid words. She slowly nodded her head, watching him light up before placing a quick kiss on her cheek, as he hurriedly ran out.

A grim smile found itself on Naruto's face as he walked out the house, leaving his girlfriend all alone. Truth is that he was actually going to hang out with Hinata.

But he didn't want (y/n) to know about that. She wouldn't understand that they were just friends. It's not like he liked her or anything.

Hanging out with the timid Hyuga was refreshing. He hardly hung out with any girl besides (y/n) and Sakura.

Plus it was only this one time, he would lie to (y/n). Smiling as he waved to Hinata. Before they greeted each other and started walking to their destination.

"We're only friends."
